Britain: Why is the government so determined to expel Abu Qatada? - The Agenda

Abu Qatada's audience was never British, he had no influence in Europe and he is a threat to no one apart from the brutal tyrants clinging to power in the Middle East.

The only people to benefit from his incarceration have been the despots he targeted including the Arab royal families of Jordan and Saudi as well as the despotic dynasties elsewhere in the region.

When Abu Qatada came to Britain with his family in the first place, he was fleeing persecution in Jordan, a country where human rights are non-existent.

He was advocating the Arab people rise up and overthrowing the dictatorships and tyrants from Jordan, Libya, Egypt, Iraq and Saudi Arabia. A call that would be encouraged and welcomed in today's climate of the Arab Spring. Source
