Iran will guide Nigeria to remove subsidies

On her 2nd day visiting the capital, Viola Onwuliri and Iran's minister of industry, trade and commerce, Mehdi Ghazanfari, signed several documents to increase the scope of economic relations between the two countries. The main topic that was discussed was how Nigeria can use the expertise of Iran in removing oil and petrochemical subsidies and diversifying its government's revenues. Nigeria had several protests a few months ago when it removed its oil subsidies and Nigerians were outraged as gas prices increased by over 30%. Source
