More Greek Debt Lies, More Coop Hypocrisy From Labour, More Deconstruction Of Voting Rights Bollocks, More Fracking Truth +

By John Ward: Greek freedom follower Kafenion wrote to me yesterday, confirming that Prime Sinister Antonikis Smallbrainaras is a black hearted liar on the subject of Greek surpluses: he lauded them bigtime – even though they failed to account for interest payments on Greece’s debt, the cost of running cities and towns, social security, some military spending, and any sense of reality.

The surplus ‘achievement’ was the key to giving the Coalition relief from €240 billion euros in debt owed to the EU-IMF-ECB Troikanauts. But the ‘exceptions’ above (disallowed for every other euro member) were a fraud: without them, Kafenion confirms, Greece would still be running a serious deficit.

As indeed is the Labour Partyboth financially and ethically

I’m indebted to Slogger Stuart who pointed me at The Scotsman’s piece today on the subject of Labour moving its bank account from the Coop to Unity Trust Bank. Greater love hath no Party that it lay down its supporters for its life.

I have wondered for decades now why principled radicals might bring themselves to vote Labour. After this bit of staggering perfidy, I’m baffled to the point of being unsympathetic: how tall does the writing on the wall have to be before reflexive Labour supporters can read it?

Darling and Balls shit all over the Coop in a bid to help bail themselves out of a banking disaster. Then when their “new vibrant mutual giant” turns into a white Elephant occupying a very small but quiet room, former Labour man Vince Cable has a poo for himself before arse-covering Ed Balls calls in two Hedge Funds FFS to cover the tracks. Then new ‘leader’ Ed Miliband cuts the bank adrift….by moving his privileged, subsidised debt to Unity Trust Bank.
This of course presented an open goal to Grant ‘Internet Fraudster’ Grant who chirps up with “These proposals would hand the trade unions even more control over Ed Miliband and the Labour Party. The unions already pick the candidates, buy the policies and choose the leader. Now Ed Miliband wants them to hold the purse strings as well.”
It goes without saying, of course, that if any of these pampered prancing pompadours had dipped a toe into the commercial world – and f**ked up the shareholders as opposed to the taxpayers – their right to be our “democratically elected” representatives would not be taken into account as they were shown the door.
Read, mark and inwardly digest:

‘Only 44 per cent of 18-24 year olds voted in the 2010 General Election. That young people seem to be increasingly reluctant to vote is a major concern to politicians, prompting proposals such as compulsory first time voting as well as Labour Party leader Ed Miliband’s recent call for lowering the voting age to 16′.

This isn’t the first time the arrogant ignorance of useless and corrupt legislators has led to the wrong-end-of-telescope solution to electorate apathy. But it is the first time that Professor Matt Henn has pointed out how compulsory first-time voting could actually produce counter-productive.

Not surprisingly, the overwhelming majority of 18-24 year olds (81%) hold a negative view of politicians, and only 8% admitted to having any trust in political parties. More than half (57%) claimed that elections don’t really change anything.

“Forcing young people to vote when they are so deeply sceptical of politicians could simply reinforce their negativity and resentment,” says Professor Henn, who is based in Nottingham Trent University’s School of Social Sciences. “Compulsory first time voting would also reinforce the negative stereotype of young people as being ‘different’ from the rest of the adult population – apathetic, politically irresponsible and basically not good citizens which is unlikely to help them feel truly connected to the democratic process.”

I rarely agree with academics, but this one is right on the money.

Slogger LLK tells me that American mum Lisa Parr and her husband Bob were awarded $3 million in the first ever verdict to be handed down by a senior Court over the negative health impacts of fracking. Last week, three separate studies were released documenting the toxic impact of fracking operations. Research conducted by the Physicians Scientists & Engineers for Healthy Energy, found that fracking likely produces public health risks and “elevated levels of toxic compounds in the environment” in nearly all stages of the process.

He also points me at this Zero Hedge piece which I willintly fess up to having missed. It turns out that some of the Fukushima reactors have suffered even a more extreme type of damage known as meltouts.
Scientists have no idea where the cores of the Fukushima nuclear reactors are, because the original explosion chucked them all over the place. Highly radioactive black “dirt” has been found over large areas of Japan. Initial attempts at a match suggest that they’re almost certainly remnants of the core from the initial bang – and that comes from magazines like Environmental Science & Technology and Environmental Radioactivity…not wild nutters. Both found that the highly radioactive black substances match fuel from the core of the Fukushima reactors.
Happy weekend everyone! Hurrah for bullshit! Pour me another large one, and roll me a biggie!
