US Launched The Murderous Coup In Ukraine: Gordon Duff

The United States launched an “armed murderous coup” in Ukraine that ousted President Viktor Yanukovych months ago.
Orwellian UK BANNED Press TV: Gordon Duff, a senior editor at Veterans Today, made the remarks in a phone interview with Press TV on Thursday.
In a speech in Poland on Wednesday, Obama accused Moscow of resorting to the "dark tactics" of the 20th century in Ukraine and vowed to resist Russian “aggression” in eastern Europe.
Obama also said that he would ask Congress for one billion dollars in additional spending to bolster the US military presence in Poland and its neighbors.
“President Obama’s recent… election year rhetoric is obviously divorced from reality:  The idea that the United States is going to give the Poles a billion dollars somehow; that the US is going to stop the Russian aggression, when it was the US that only months ago started an armed murderous coup against the people of Ukraine. Ethnic cleansing has begun there; they are actually using fighter bombers against their own cities. The US is bringing the terrorists into that country,” Duff said.

“I have difficult time understanding where President Obama is coming from because his Cold War rhetoric is an attempt to cater to what he still believes are extremists that want a Cold War back, that want a nuclear war,” he added.
“Who believes any of this? No one believes him. No one believes the United States,” Duff stated.

The Autonomous Republic of Crimea declared independence from Ukraine on March 17 and formally applied to become part of Russia following a referendum a day earlier, in which nearly 97 percent of the participants voted in favor of the move. On March 21, Crimea officially became part of the Russian territory.
On April 17, Russia, Ukraine, the US and the European Union agreed over steps to "de-escalate" the crisis in eastern Ukraine, where anti-Kiev protesters seized buildings in several towns and cities.
But, Ukrainian authorities have ordered military operations against pro-Russian protesters in both eastern and southern Ukraine, claiming that Russian special forces are fueling unrest in the country.
Moscow has dismissed as "nonsense" claims that Russian special forces are fomenting unrest in Ukraine.
According to a recent report published in the German newspaper Bild am Sonntag, the US Central Intelligence Agency and Federal Bureau of Investigation are helping the interim authorities in Kiev to end the crisis.
The newspaper, citing unnamed German security sources, reported that dozens of CIA and FBI agents are involved in the offensive against the pro-Russian activists.
Earlier this year, US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland disclosed that Washington has “invested” about $5 billion in “promoting democracy” in Ukraine over the past two decades.
In early February, Nuland visited Ukraine and held meetings with anti-Kremlin politicians who organized anti-government protests that led to the ouster of Yanukovych.
