Feminist Media Censorship Puts Public Safety At Risk

Laurie A. Couture: This video discusses the issue of feminist media censorship of:

1. The true incidence of rape and sexual and domestic violence against boys and men and female perpetration of these crimes
(based on empirical evidence), as well as other issues relating to the safety and mental health of boys and men such as Male Genital Mutilation and suicide,

2.
Any critique of feminist ideology.

I believe from a mental health and public safety perspective, that feminist media censorship of the empirical facts about sexual and domestic violence puts the safety of the public at risk, especially children, and constitutes a violation of humanitarian ethics, as it feeds stereotypes and leads to bias.

As an author, parenting coach, trauma specialist and mental health professional, I have made several attempts over the past few years to bring these issues to the media, to feminist organizations and even to Democratic politicians. I have either received no responses at all, or I have been told that they aren't interested in the subject.

Recently, The Good Men Project, a feminist site, accepted my article, "An Autistic Critique of Feminism: A Humanitarian on the Autism Spectrum Refuses to be Silenced about the Overlooked Side of Social Justice". However, I was required to revise it three times in order to soften my critique. The third version was approved by the Senior Editor, Wilhelm Cortez, the Executive Editor, Thomas Fiffer and by me. On 10/4/14, the approved version went live. However, after it posted, the CEO, Lisa Hickey, immediately went into the document and removed every reference in the article to feminism or a critique of feminism and in fact removed every occurrence of the word "feminism". This completely changed the premise of my message. The senior editor did not seem to be aware of this until I discovered it and pointed it out. I corresponded with him and the executive editor.

On 10/7/14, I filmed this video after not receiving a response to my request for them to restore my article to the version we all approved. As of 10/11/14, the time of uploading this video, they still have not restored my article and here remains the altered version: http://goodmenproject.com/featured-co...
