18 Unregulated Chemicals Found In Drinking Water Across The United States

By Arjun Walia: Many communities around the world have been successful in removing fluoride from their water supply, but that’s not the only concern. Although fluoride is still a controversial topic within the mainstream, the other chemicals found in drinking water are not. A new study done by United States federal scientists found traces of 18 unregulated contaminants in the drinking water utilities in a nation-wide sampling, the study is expected to be published this year. It was conducted by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). (1)(2)(3)
They did it by analyzing single samples of untreated and treated water from 25 U.S utilities that voluntarily participated in the study. A total of 21 contaminates were found, and 18 of them are chemicals that are not regulated under the federal  Safe Drinking Water Act.
A research hydrologist with the USGS Dana Kolpin, who participated in the study said that “the good news is the concentrations are generally pretty low.” Personally, I don’t think that there is any good news that comes from the fact that 18 unregulated, unhealthy chemicals were found. Sure, they might be in low concentrations, but human beings drink water every day, constantly for their whole life. Four of these chemicals were metal strontium, the herbicide metolachlor, PFOS and PFOA.
What might be the most disturbing discovery are the perfluorinated chemicals that were found, PFOS and PFOA.

Mini Ice Age: ‘Polar Vortex’ Slams US Midwest And Northeast With Record Freezing Temperatures + Saving the Planet

RT: The American Midwest and Northeast have braced for a "polar vortex," a megastorm that is expected to bring record low temperatures on Monday. So far extreme weather conditions have claimed at least 16 lives, paralyzed travel and caused power shortage.
For those exposed to the inclement conditions frostbite and hypothermia will be a danger as – 31°C is expected in North Dakota, - 35 °C in Minnesota, and - 26 degrees below Celsius in Indianapolis and Chicago. Adding the wind chill factor, the temperature could feel as low as – 56 °C.
The freezing air began to spread Sunday reaching areas as far south as the Gulf Coast.
It may feel as cold as negative 50 to negative 60 on Sunday night over sections of the north-central states,” the Tom Moore, from the National Weather Service said to NBC News.
In those conditions, frost bite sets in on exposed skin within five minutes…a person not properly dressed could die easily in those conditions," Moore added.

MR.* Rap: Those Who Oppose Us - Embrace Freedom

The rift between men and women has widened throughout recorded history
In today's free world there are those that seek to widen that rift even further
Some widen it with claims of men's oppression of women
They widen it with claims that masculinity is evil
That men are born oppressors that need to be fixed
Others widen it with dehumanizing standards of chivalry and self sacrifice
They call themselves feminists and traditionalists

How Do Civilizations Commit Suicide? By Elevating Women At The Expense Of Men. It Doesn’t Have To Be This Way.

By Oh dear.  Camille Paglia is back in the news, pointing out some icky truths that make feminists stamp their feet and pout, as icky truths tend to do.
In a three hour interview, Paglia points out just what we’re getting wrong, culturally.
The diminished status of the military means that the cultural elite has no military experience – no explicit training in analysis, strategy, defense, offence, subterfuge – any of the tactics that permit an understanding of how to face down evil and triumph.
This leads to the idea that everyone is basically nice and if we’re nice, they’ll be nice right back.  North Korea: just be nice and everything will be okie-dokie.  How’s that working out, Jang Song Thaek?
”These people don’t think in military ways, so there’s this illusion out there that people are basically nice, people are basically kind, if we’re just nice and benevolent to everyone they’ll be nice too. They literally don’t have any sense of evil or criminality.”

WOMEN WANT YOU - The Gender War In Sweden & Iceland + Feminist Fashion AR Wear & Invisibile Bike Helmets + My Journey Into MGTOW

Sandman: The Gender War in Sweden heats up this week where innocent men are being photographed on public transit as proof that they are oppressing women simply by the way they sit on a bus. Sweden is also implementing a film rating system developed for feminists. Soon all flicks will be chick flicks. Male spaces everywhere are being attacked by women. The more the MGTOW movement grows the more women will try to invade our spaces.

Orwellian USA: NSA Responds To Bernie Sanders It Spies On Congress

Tyler Durden's picture Yesterday, in what we characterized as an episode of a "real life magic-mushroom, banana dictatorship envisioned by George Orwell" gone full retard, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders asked the NSA point blank whether it has "spied, or is the NSA currently spying, on members of Congress or other American elected officials?" Today, via the Bezos Post, we got the answer: "Members of Congress have the same privacy protections as all U.S. persons," the spokesman said, which thanks to Edward Snowden, we now know for a fact are precisely none. "We are reviewing Sen. Sanders’s letter now, and we will continue to work to ensure that all members of Congress, including Sen. Sanders, have information about NSA’s mission, authorities, and programs to fully inform the discharge of their duties." In other words, of course. More from WaPo:
The answer is telling. We already know that the NSA collects records on virtually every phone call made in the United States. That program was renewed for the 36th time on Friday. If members of Congress are treated no differently than other Americans, then the NSA likely keeps tabs on every call they make as well.

Rand Paul To File Class-Action Lawsuit 'Any American With A Cell Phone' Against Obama Admin Over NSA Spying

By End The Lie: Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is filing a class-action lawsuit against the Obama administration over the surveillance programs of the National Security Agency (NSA), part what Paul calls an effort to “protect the Fourth Amendment.”
This comes after it was reported that the NSA is developing a quantum computer to crack encryption, that the agency reportedly has backdoor access to iPhones and other electronics and that the agency intercepts electronics shipments to install surveillance equipment.
Paul made the announcement on the “Hannity” program on Fox News, where he said he began collecting signatures for the class-action suit about six months ago.
“The question here is whether or not, constitutionally, you can have a single warrant apply to millions of people,” Paul said. “So we thought, what better way to illustrate the point than having hundreds of thousands of Americans sign up for a class action suit.”
It’s “kind of an unusual class-action suit,” Paul said, because any American who owns a cell phone is eligible to join the case.

Evolution is a Bad Explanation + Riding a Dinosaur to Work

Shkelqim Hajrullahi: Hi there, Shkelqim here. Ever wondered how fossils look like? They look like this. (Show 2 pictures of fossils.) I agree. They can be very interesting to look at. Fossils are the preserved remains from dead organisms, which makes them quite old too. (Remove the 2 pictures that are shown on the screen.) How do we know how old they are? Well, there are several methods of knowing how old an object is.
