Neomasculinity Is MGTOW 1.0

I want to talk about something someone sent me a link to today from the Prison Planet Live channel. It's on one of the channels that's currently affiliated with Infowars and Alex Jones. At the beginning of the year the label MGTOW was under attack by the men's rights movement. The MRM tried to turn MGTOW into something it's not. The people attacking MGTOW were quickly discredited and we continued to grow. Now once again MGTOW is under attack.
And yesterday a video was released called "Neomasculinity: The Male Backlash Against Toxic Women." I watched it and was curious about the label neomasculinity because it sounds a lot like the original MGTOW version 1.0 about instilling masculinity into men and femininity into women. But who created this label "neomasculity" and why is prison planet promoting it instead of MGTOW? So I did a quick search and found an article called Neomasculity by Roosh V from early in March of 2015. And here is a brief paragraph from Roosh's piece which I'm also including in the description below. This is what he has to say: "For many years, the term “red pill” has been used to describe the views possessed by a large number of men in the manosphere, but I believe it has outlived its usefulness because it’s too broad, vague, and hokey, especially since it is used in other niches like conspiracy groups and Zero Hedge. I would like to propose the term neomasculinity to precisely describe the developing ideology that has been refined here, on Return Of Kings." Roosh goes on to say that Neomasculinity is about traditional sex roles between men and women, hard work ethics, male virtue, male-only spaces. Those are just a few things outlined under neomasculinity. And I agree that these are all important things to do for yourself but not do because you are doing them to attract women. I have a few questions for everyone about this. Doesn't that sound like tradcon philosophy or MGTOW version 1.0? Doesn't that sound like an attempt to get men back to the plantation in an Orwellian doublespeak kind of way? On one hand neomasculinity says that men should understand the the true nature of women but then it also to endorse the idea that both genders should just accept going back into traditional relationships. I respect Roosh for having the courage to go on television with Dr. OZ and take a pummeling while maintaining his composure and rationality. I also respect him for trying to create a more unique and inclusive label instead of "the red pill." Those are all really great ideas. Sandman
