Boys Should Have The Right To Say No To Feminism

By Glen Poole: The evangelical drive to teach boys to be feminists reached a new high last week with the news that every 16-year-old in Sweden is to be given a free copy of the book We Should All Be Feminists”.
The short essay, based on a 2013 TED talk by the Nigerian novelist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, has become a sacred text for those who share Yvette Cooper’s belief that “we need our sons growing up as confident feminists”.
So should we welcome the crusaders who wish to convert our male progeny to the “one true Goddess” of gender politics, or should we teach our boys to become free-thinkers who can choose for themselves whether they want to be feminist or not?
As a lapsed male feminist myself, I feel I should start with a confessional.
Firstly, I think Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is an extraordinary human being. I defy anyone with an open mind and an open heart to watch her speak and not be impressed by her intelligence, humour, courage, creativity, compassion, self awareness and beauty.

Monsanto To Face Crimes Againt Humanity Charges At International Criminal Court

By Claire Bernish (ANTIMEDIA): On Thursday, dozens of farming, sustainable food, and environmental justice groups announced they would bring insidious agrichemical giant and food-experimenter, Monsanto, to trial before The Hague for charges of ecocide and crimes against humanity and nature. The trial will commence, appropriately, on World Food Day, which falls on October 16th of next year.
Millions Against Monsanto, The Organic Consumers Association (OCA), Regeneration International (RI), and The International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) are among numerous organizations bringing this legal action in the form of a Citizens Tribunal, because Monsanto, a US-based company, has developed a number of highly toxic products, which have permanently damaged the environment and caused illness or death for thousands of people.”

This Is Radical Feminist Activism

"The activism of FGM, it's fairly obvious how radical this type of activism is, especially in the UK. Conviction is more important than whether or not the case is solid and whether or not the person is actually guilty." Feminism LOL

Guns Of America

By Eve Mykytyn: The New York Times delivered a first of its kind front page editorial today deploring the proliferation of guns in America. The editorial has been widely praised in the media as if the writing alone would have an effect on gun violence.
The first line reads as follows: “It is a moral outrage and national disgrace that civilians can purchase weapons designed to kill people with brutal speed and efficiency.” I don’t disagree with the sentiment, but the timing is odd. Americans have been subject to a number of random gun attacks by disturbed and disturbing shooters, the majority of whom have been young men with no discernible political ties. It is an open question whether increased gun control laws enacted after so many guns are already in circulation would help keep guns away from such disturbed young men.
What is interesting about the timing of the New York Times piece is that it follows a political act, obviously planned and executed by two people who believed that they were supporting the Islamic state. The horror in San Bernardino may have loosely resembled the earlier killings, but it is hard to believe that gun control laws would deter planned political killings. France has far tighter gun control laws than the United States, and clearly such laws did not deter the recent killings in Paris.

Male Genital Mutilator Dr. Zuhair Zarifa Of London, England

From Dr. Zarifa’s website circumcisions.co.uk:
Male Circumcision for All Ages
Many parents want their sons to be circumcised for health & hygiene, personal, social, cultural and religious reasons. Adult men also frequently perceive there are hygienic and sexual advantages to circumcision and choose to undergo the procedure for these reasons, often at the request of their wife or partner. The need to be circumcised can also arise when entering into another faith where it is obligatory.
Unfortunately, male circumcision is not available on the National Health Service unless there are pressing medical problems with the foreskin. Even then, the waiting lists can be very long, with consequent difficulty of discretely arranging time off work or school.
Dr. Zarifa, a qualified community-based surgeon, and a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons, is very experienced in this procedure. He understands patients’ concerns and offers the operation in a modern treatment room which has full air conditioning and sterilising routines for equipment and instruments.”
