Fathering And Empathy Development, Dr. Warren Farrell

StudioBrule: Feminists protested and blocked entrance to this lecture by Warren Farrell on November 16, 2012. After the police removed the protesters, Farrell was able to deliver part of his planned lecture, some of which I was able to capture. This video is the first in a series of excerpts that I will publish on Miscellaneous Monday.

In this first video from the November 2012 lecture, Dr. Farrell discusses different modes of parenting, and the importance of fathers in the development of empathy in children in response to a question from an audience member. Farrell also points out that ADHD is twice as prevalent with single mothers and explains that this may be explained by the absence of the father influence in the child's life.

Dr. Warren Farrell is a renowned expert on gender and men's issues.
