"END OUR SILENCE"
Five children from Children 4 Justice explain in their own words how they lost their fathers (and in some cases sisters), in the UK family courts and why they want the law to change to give children a right to see their fathers.
Perhaps with the new commission the Conservatives are proposing, Mike, they will identify that men are also victims in a significant number of cases of DV and should be helped as well.Sadly, Jeff’s optimism is surely misplaced. Feminists working for Women’s Aid and other organizations in the DV industry are deeply influential in the Home Office and in other relevant government departments. There is no mention in the BBC piece of male victims, and the photograph at the top is of a man’s clenched fist, with a woman cowering in the background. Excerpts:
Ms Rudd [Home Secretary] said: “The fact is that across the country [standards] are varied, and part of [the reason for] this legislation and having a commissioner is to make sure that we raise standards everywhere, so that women [J4MB: our emphasis] get a good service, wherever they are.” [J4MB: Ms Rudd cannot be bothered to even pretend to give a damn about male victims.]
The party co-hosted the second International Conference on Men’s Issues in London, between 8 and 10 July 2016 in association with A Voice for Men. Conservative member of parliament Philip Davies, a member of the Justice Select Committee, spoke to the conference asserting that the criminal justice system favours women’s over men’s rights. [J4MB: He provided plenty of evidence to prove his ‘assertion’.]
“I did not find that the Government proved the allegation against Senior Chief Barry beyond a reasonable doubt,”
“Absent the pressures described [in my affidavit], I would have disapproved the findings in this case.”
The abortion rate already is extremely high in New York. In 2012, 101,674 of New York’s children lost their lives to induced abortion – the highest abortion rate in the nation, according to the Centers for Disease Control.
The statistics are even more startling in New York City. Approximately 40 percent of pregnancies in New York City end in abortion. Among African Americans in New York City, that number climbs to 60 percent, according to city health department data.
Dave Mackay, prosecuting, said the offending took place during 2008 when she was in her early 30s and ran a “chaotic household”…
The youngsters did not make a complaint at the time of the offending…
After being arrested Tillyer initially denied carrying out any abuse and claimed she had been raped by the boys…
Kate Bissett, mitigating, said Tillyer suffered from anxiety and a personality disorder. She said: “She was seeking intimacy rather than seeking to exploit them for sexual gratification.” [J4MB: Well, that’s all right, then.]
