Freedom Is A Myth: We Are All Prisoners Of The Police State’s Panopticon Village

"We're run by the Pentagon, we're run by Madison Avenue, we're run by television, and as long as we accept those things and don't revolt we'll have to go along with the stream to the eventual avalanche.... As long as we go out and buy stuff, we're at their mercy… We all live in a little Village. Your Village may be different from other people's Villages, but we are all prisoners.”— Patrick McGoohan
By John W. Whitehead: First broadcast in Great Britain 50 years ago, The Prisoner—a dystopian television series described as “James Bond meets George Orwell filtered through Franz Kafka”—confronted societal themes that are still relevant today: the rise of a police state, the freedom of the individual, round-the-clock surveillance, the corruption of government, totalitarianism, weaponization, group think, mass marketing, and the tendency of humankind to meekly accept their lot in life as a prisoner in a prison of their own making.
Perhaps the best visual debate ever on individuality and freedom, The Prisoner (17 episodes in all) centers around a British secret agent who abruptly resigns only to find himself imprisoned, monitored by militarized drones, and interrogated in a mysterious, self-contained, cosmopolitan, seemingly tranquil retirement community known only as the Village.

Why The Jewish Occupation Of Palestine Is No Accident

By Rod Such: As early as 1963 – four years before the 1967 War – the Israeli government was planning the military and administrative takeover of the West Bank, according to The Biggest Prison on Earth, a new book by the Israeli historian Ilan Pappe.
The Biggest Prison on Earth: A History of the Occupied Territories by Ilan Pappe, Oneworld Books (2017)
The planning for that operation – codenamed Granit (granite) – took place over a month on the campus of Hebrew University in the Givat Ram neighborhood of western Jerusalem. Israeli military administrators responsible for overseeing Palestinians within Israel joined military legal officials, interior ministry figures and private attorneys to create the judicial and administrative decrees required to rule over the one million Palestinians then living in the West Bank.
These plans were part of a larger strategy for placing the West Bank under military occupation. That strategy was codenamed the Shacham Plan for the Israeli colonel, Mishael Shacham, who authored it, and was formally presented by the Israeli chief of general staff to the army on 1 May 1963.
Pappe has long maintained that the 1967 War and the occupation that followed was not the “accidental empire” described by liberal Zionists.

Jewish State Of Israel In The Levant JSIL Soldier's Explosive Tell-All: "Palestinians Are Right To Resist"

Empire Files: In a rare, candid conversation, Abby Martin interviews a former Israeli Army combat soldier who served as an occupier in Palestine’s Hebron City. Eran Efrati spent years as a sergeant and combat soldier in the Israeli military, but has since become an outspoken critic of the occupation of Palestine and Israeli apartheid. Efrati gives explosive testimony on the reality of his service and explains how war crimes are institutionalized, as well as how systematic the oppression against Palestinians really is in a war of conquest that will no-doubt be accelerated under the Trump Administration.

America's PC Plague a 'National Catastrophe'
Russia's #1 Anchor (Kiselyov)
By Dmitry Kiselyov: Ladies and Gentlemen, say hello to Dmitry Kiselyov, Russia’s #1 news anchor, and simultaneously, the head of one of the biggest government media conglomerates, Rossiya Segodnya, which owns, among other things, RT.
He has been roundly demonized by the western media, and put on the sanctions list, a strong hint that he probably talks a lot of good sense and is worth listening to.

Kiselyov is an excellent wordsmith, and his carefully crafted video essays pack a punch. This time he’s found an excellent translator to convey a hint at his style. Some choice chops:

I can’t say that we are always happy with our turbulent history, but at least unlike America, Poland or Ukraine, we don’t destroy monuments and don’t ban films.
Otherwise, we would have to stop showing, for example, “And Quiet Flows the Don” or “Battleship Potemkin,” to ban the “The White Guard” or “Lenin in October.” Then, we would begin to destroy the monuments.

Practice Direction 12J - Child Arrangement & Contact Order

By MRA-UK: Regular readers will be aware of Women’s Aid’s initiative “Child First: 19 Child Homicides”. The campaign objective was to further frustrate fathers’ access to their children after divorce or separation by claiming, on the basis of a very small number of specially selected cases, that fathers are a danger, rather than a benefit, to their families – women and children both.
The above link now bears the triumphant cry “campaign win!”. Indeed it is. Well done, ladies. Pity about the children.
This site published a rejoinder to 19 Child Homicides in the post 330 Child Homicides later updated to 332 Child Homicides. The thrust of the counterclaim was that the assumption in 19 Child Homicides that mothers are always benign, and only fathers present a risk to children, is false. In truth, examining a larger database of Serious Case Reviews reveals that mothers are responsible for more child killings than fathers or male partners combined. This clearly establishes the falsity of Women’s Aid’s position. Moreover, it implies that uncritical assumptions that mothers, simply by virtue of their sex, represent no risk to children – or less risk than fathers – is contrary to the Court’s obligation to put the interests of children first.
Perhaps nervous that 19 Child Homicides alone might prove insufficient, Women’s Aid in conjunction with Cafcass produced this piece of joint research in July 2017. The main finding was that domestic abuse was alleged in 62% of Cafcass’s child contact cases. I can hardly claim to be surprised by this figure because it is consistent with the upper bound I derived in this post.

Someone Keeps Flushing €500 Bank Notes Down The Toilet

By Tyler Durden: While there are several comments one can make here, "dirty money", "flush with cash" and "flushing money down the toilet" certainly coming to mind, perhaps the ECB was on to something when it warned that €500 "Bin Laden" bills (which it has since discontinued to print) tend to be used by criminals.
The reason for this is that in recent weeks, Swiss prosecutors have been gripped by a mystery, trying to figure out why someone tried to flush tens of thousands of euros down the toilet at a Geneva branch of UBS.
And not just once.
The first €500 bills were discovered several months ago in a bathroom close to a bank vault containing hundreds of safe deposit boxes, according to a report in Tribune de Geneve confirmed by the city prosecutor’s office. A few days later, Bloomberg adds that more banknotes turned up in toilets at three nearby restaurants, requiring thousands of francs in plumbing repairs to unclog the pipes. Indeed, AP adds that at one pizzeria, police were informed after the clogged toilet had overflowed

My Fiancee Cheated… Then Left Me Ruined

In his own words, the Cambridge lecturer cleared of attacking unfaithful girlfriend tells of the shattering ordeal that left himshunned like a leper’
By Angella Johnson: The medieval courtyards and mullioned windows of 15th Century Christ's College, in the heart of Cambridge, create an atmosphere of learned calm and quiet beauty.
It was within these walls that the poet John Milton ruminated under a mulberry tree while a scholar, and it was here that the undergraduate Charles Darwin began his prodigious career as a naturalist.
More recently, it was where PhD student and lecturer Matthew Baron spent three dedicated years researching marine palaeontology – dinosaurs of the sea, to you or me – making breakthroughs in the study of their evolution and marking, he hoped, the beginning of a brilliant academic career.
It was here, too, that romance blossomed between Matthew, 26, and a pretty fellow postgraduate zoology student called Sophia Cooke, also 26, to whom he became engaged.
Today, however that relationship lies in tatters, and so, for a while at least, did Matthew's carefully won reputation as one of the brightest rising stars in his field at the prestigious university.
Even today, Matthew is no longer even permitted to enter the gates of Christ's College – and his entire future hangs in the balance.

Beijing Start-Up Now Offers Sex Dolls For Rent

By Tyler Durden: It's official: China's sharing economy has reached its peak.
After shared workout pods, stools luxury cars, and, of course, bicycles, feminist Shanghaist reports that a Beijing-based startup now has come up with a "mesmerizingly grotesque" idea: what if people could rent sex dolls through an app and return them after a period of time so that other 'silicone slammers' could take advantage of the very same product?
And no, sadly this is not a joke.
The Chinese app, which is called Ta Qu, or "Touch" in English, was launched in 2015 as a platform for discussing issues about sex and sexuality. Over the past two years, it has pivoted or "(d)evolved" into a sex doll sharing app, which is now being tested in Beijing.  The Global Times reports that daily rentals cost 298 yuan, or less than $50, while users of the app can rent dolls for a week for the price of 1,298 yuan, after making an 8,000 yuan deposit.
The dolls then get delivered right to the user's doorstep.

Old School UK Labour MP Told Why He Broke Corbyn’s Whip And Voted For EU Withdrawal Bill

Philip Hunt: Veteran Labour MP Dennis Skinner has spoken to Westmonster about voting against the EU at every opportunity. Veteran Labour MP Dennis Skinner told Westmonster why he broke the party whip and voted in favour of the EU Withdrawal Bill, saying he’s been against the “undemocratic” EU for the last 47 years. He said: “I’m the only person in this whole Parliament who’s voted against every treaty of the EU and it’s not because I’m anything clever, it’s because I’ve lived long enough to see the whole thing from the very beginning. “I was in Parliament in 1970 and by 1971 the Common Market vote was taken. It took power away from me and gave it to the Council of Ministers – that’s undemocratic.

Women Hold Up Half The Sky?

By : “Women hold up half the sky.”
What does it mean?
Now and then, on a sunny day, when strolling over Mount Everest, I look around to see where these women are—the ones holding up half the sky.  Clouds are made of water and water is heavy, so I suspect they have quite a challenge going on.
But where are they?
Hmm…
Pulleys.
That’s it.  Maybe they’re using a pulley system.
They must have wrapped cable around the moon, and are using it as a pulley system and are holding up the sky by pulling down on the pulley from the valleys.  There you go.
Hmm…
Death Valley, Khumba Valley, Douro Valley: nothing.  I can’t see any feminist down there in any of these valleys, let alone a cable coming down ‘round the moon.
Of course, they might mean the ladies of the Erechtheion.
The Erechtheion is a temple on the north side of the Acropolis

Defying Israel’s Eviction Orders In East Jerusalem

By Budour Youssef Hassan: It was supposed to have been Nizar Shamasneh’s first day back at school.
At around 5:30am, a large number of Israeli police descended on the Sheikh Jarrah area in occupied East Jerusalem. They had arrived to evict the Shamasneh family.
Israeli police arrest a member of the Shamasneh family following their eviction from their home in the Sheikh Jarrah area of occupied East Jerusalem on 5 September. Heidi Levine Sipa Press
“They took everything: my schoolbag, our clothing, my grandfather’s identity card,” Nizar, aged 15, said. “It was heartbreaking to be thrown out in the street without being able to defend yourself.”
The family were caught somewhat off-guard by the 5 September eviction.
As the family had secured a court injunction, they thought that they could remain in their home for at least another five days.
Yet on 4 September, Israeli settlers appealed successfully against the injunction. As a result, the eviction was allowed to proceed immediately.
The family was not informed that the injunction had been overturned.
“We were not ready for this,” said Fahima, Nizar’s 76-year-old grandmother. Noting that the eviction occurred just after the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, she added: “They chose their timing well.”

Suddenly, “De-Dollarization” Is A Thing

Authored by John Rubino: For what seems like decades, other countries have been tiptoeing away from their dependence on the US dollar.
China, Russia, and India have cut deals in which they agree to accept each others’ currencies for bi-lateral trade while Europe, obviously, designed the euro to be a reserve asset and international medium of exchange.
These were challenges to the dollar’s dominance, but they weren’t mortal threats.
What’s happening lately, however, is a lot more serious.

It even has an ominous-sounding name: de-dollarization. Here’s an excerpt from a much longer article by “strategic risk consultant” F. William Engdahl:

Gold, Oil and De-Dollarization? Russia and China’s Extensive Gold Reserves, China Yuan Oil Market

(Global Research) – China, increasingly backed by Russia—the two great Eurasian nations—are taking decisive steps to create a very viable alternative to the tyranny of the US dollar over world trade and finance. Wall Street and Washington are not amused, but they are powerless to stop it.

Former CIA Agent Blows Whistle On Secret US Shadow Government

Silencing Whistleblowers
By Kevin Shipp: Why don’t more “whistle blowers” come out to expose illegal or unconstitutional secret government operations? If these activities are so illegal, why are people not coming forward to report them?

Top ISIS Leader 'Ben' The Israeli Mossad Agent Captured In Benghazi

A senior ISIS commander, who was captured and arrested in Libya by anti-terrorism security, has been exposed as an agent of Mossad, the Israeli intelligence service.
The ISIS leader, who was in charge of more than 200 so-called 'Islamic State fighters', was arrested in the city of Benghazi, Libya following a bloody battle between allied troops and apparently Jewish ISIS fighters.
Soon after his capture and arrest, Libyan anti-terrorist officers were stunned to discover the high-ranking ISIS leader was actually Ephraim Benjamin, a known Mossad operative.
The ties between the Israeli government and the terror group Daesh, otherwise known as the Islamic State or ISIS have long been speculated. The Israeli government has often referenced Daesh as a useful tool and acknowledged that they prefer Syria to be under ISIS control rather than led by the country’s duly elected President Assad and his government.

Mother’s Emotional Abuse Pushed Burnel To Study In Paris

Growing up in Cremona in twelfth-century Italy, Burnel had a difficult childhood. His mother and father often quarreled. Even worse, Burnel’s mother subjected him to vicious emotional abuse. The effects of this abuse endured into Brunel’s adulthood. As an adult, Burnel didn’t feel the natural goodness of his own masculine sexuality. He sought to establish his self-esteem through foolish quests to lengthen his penis, acquire a liberal arts degree at the University of Paris, and become an eminent religious leader.
Burnel’s mother dominated his father. An issue of contention among them was interpreting dreams. Burnel explained:
Indeed and dreams, contrariwise, must be explained
to mean the very opposite, I’d have you know.
If dreams are good, then trouble will result;
if bad, doubt not that great success will come.
‘Tis thus my mother used to speak of dreams,
and she was very well informed and wise.
‘Twas over this my mother often used
to quarrel with father, answering word for word.
For he with mother always disagreed,
maintaining that her theories were all wrong.

Syria’s President Exposed A Flaw In US Foreign Policy That No One Wants To Talk About

Authored by Darius Shahtahmasebi: In an interview with RT in 2015, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad uttered perhaps one of his most intriguing statements since the Syrian conflict erupted in 2011. Assad stated:
“Western propaganda has, from the very beginning, been about the cause of the problem being the president. Why? Because they want to portray the whole problem in Syria lies in one individual; and consequently the natural reaction for many people is that, if the problem lies in one individual, that individual should not be more important than the entire homeland. So let that individual go and things will be alright. That’s how they oversimplify things in the West.”  [emphasis added]
He continued:

Notice what happened in the Western media since the coup in Ukraine. What happened? President Putin was transformed from a friend of the West to a foe and, yet again, he was characterized as a tsar…This is Western propaganda. They say that if the president went things will get better. [emphasis added]

Waters is scheduled to play Friday and Saturday in Long Island, despite attempts by Nassau County officials to shut down the concerts citing a local anti-BDS bill. Despite this, Roger Waters has continued to speak out. Last week, he wrote a piece in The New York Times titled "Congress Shouldn’t Silence Human Rights Advocates." In the op-ed, he criticized a Jewish lobby backed bill being considered in the Senate to silence supporters of BDS.

Moschos In Pratum Spirituale Told Of Women Sexually Harassing Men 1500 Years Ago

Monks serving God in the deserts of North Africa and Mesopotamia about 1500 years ago commonly regarded women as creating a hostile work environment for them. Young, attractive women sexually harassed monks and made them less productive in their prayers. While it’s difficult for many persons today to comprehend, women in the ancient world often had loving concern for men. John Moschos recorded about 600 GC in his Pratum Spirituale {Spiritual Meadow} that women acted shrewdly and fearlessly, as well as strongly and independently, to end their sexual harassment of men.
Moschos in the Pratum Spirituale told the story of a monk who was temporarily staying in the home of a Christ-loving farmer. The farmer had a daughter who was a young, beautiful woman. By her presence she so sexually harassed the monk that he “burned with desire for her.” After her father left on a business trip, the monk sought to have sex with the daughter. With sharp reason she interrogated him:

“You, brother, how long have you been in your monastery, sir?” He said, “Seventeen years.” She replied: “Have you had any experience with a woman?”

Harvard University Bends The Knee To The CIA

By Michael Krieger: Let’s get caught up real quick. On Wednesday, Harvard University announced that Bradley [aka Chelsea] Manning — who leaked evidence of U.S. war crimes in Iraq to Wikileaks and was incarcerated for seven years before being pardoned by Barack Obama — had been named a visiting fellow. I disagree with almost everything Obama did as president, but his pardoning of Manning is something I applaud. Then the CIA complained.
The complaint was swift and two-pronged. First, former acting director of the CIA, Michael Morell, wrote a letter by which he resigned in protest. Then the current CIA director, Michael Pompeo wrote a note of his own, which included support for Morell. Morell’s letter is absolutely incredible if you know some of this guy’s history. I suggest reading the entire thing.
Towards the end of the letter, Morell has the nerve to write:
“I have an obligation to my conscience - and I believe to the country - to stand up against any efforts to justify leaks of sensitive national security information.”
Let’s now take a moment to review this man’s well documented conscience.

5th Low-Tech Relatively Ineffective Retaliation For The 30,000 High-Tech Bombs We're Dropping On Arab Nations Annually

All Our Money On Bombs To Aid Terrorist [Apartheid said recent UN report] Israel Whilst Poor British Men Beg Outside Our Shops For Scraps
By Tyler Durden: The home-made bomb left on a packed rush-hour commuter train in London engulfed a carriage in flames and injured 22 people on Friday in what police said was Britain’s fifth terrorism incident this year, but apparently failed to fully explode. Passengers on board a train heading into the capital fled in panic as the fire erupted at Parsons Green underground station in West London at 8.20 a.m.
Charlie Craven said he had just got on the train when the device exploded. “Literally within three seconds of putting your bag down, the doors just closing, we hear a loud explosion,” he told Reuters. “I looked around and saw this massive fireball ... coming down the carriage.”
He said terrified passengers fled, fearing a second explosion or a gunman, with people being knocked to the ground and crushed in the stampede to escape. Outside the station, a woman was carried off on a stretcher with her legs covered in a foil blanket while others were led away swathed in bandages.
Some suffered burns while others were injured in a stampede to escape.

MGTOW 101:
Should You Date Single Mothers?

UK MP Philip Davies Leads By Example On Equality

: In the last Parliament, Philip Davies [left] received a lot of flak after he was elected on to the misandricly and oxymoronically named 'Women and Equalities Committee'. As Davies has vigorously campaigned for men and boy's rights to be given a better hearing and raised doubts about the intentions of some feministssome questioned his intention.
However, at least Davies remains committed to the committee – which is more than can be said for most Conservative MPs. Davies has the dubious honour of being one of only two Tory MPs (the other being Kirstene Hair) to put their name down for the committee. This means there is no contest and there remains two Tory vacancies for the committee.
On the news, Davies said the lack of interest was a shame given how ‘vital the PC brigade tell us this committee is’:

I thought I should go back on the committee to ensure that a different viewpoint one that believes in true equality not the PC version is expressed on the committee and they dont suffer from unquestioning groupthink.
No doubt his fellow committee members will be impressed by his commitment to the cause…

Who Rules America? The Power Elite In The Time Of Trump

'Where once the war powers rested
with the President and the Congress,
today a collection of fanatical militarists make and execute military policy,
decide war zones and push for greater militarization of domestic policing.'
By Prof. James Petras: In the last few months, several competing political, economic and military sectors – linked to distinct ideological and ethnic groups – have clearly emerged at the centers of power.
We can identify some of the key competing and interlocking directorates of the power elite:
1. Free marketers, with the ubiquitous presence of the ‘Israel First’ crowd.
2. National capitalists, linked to rightwing ideologues.
3. Generals, linked to the national security and the Pentagon apparatus, as well as defense industry.
4. Business elites, linked to global capital.

The Bizarre World Of Safe Spaces

Men Are Good!: Feminism has always required methods to defer scrutiny. The common path for this has been shaming those who question the feminist ideas. One aspect of safe spaces is as a method to defer criticism in a similar manner to shaming. But rather than be an active mode of pointing a finger at the questioner it simply makes it illegal to offer any sort of negative feedback. This offers the same result of disallowing any negative feedback. Lately the lethality of safe spaces has taken a lethal turn with Cornell University now asking students to "report" those who have negative reactions to their safe places. Sounds like a defense has now become a weapon. It's time we put our foot down.

Jan Van Eyck, Canon Van Der Paele And Galbert Of Bruges

In 1547, the ruler of the Netherlands sought to acquire a painting held in St. Donation’s Church in Bruges in the Netherlands. The painting was Jan van Eyck’s The Virgin and Child with Canon van der Paele. Van Eyck had completed this painting about 1435. St. Donation’s Church refused to relinquish it to the ruler. Church officials declared that this painting had been treasured by St. Donation’s and the city of Bruges for many years. They declared that removing it from St. Donation’s would provoke “moans, protests, uproar, and complaints.”[1] More than four centuries earlier, Galbert of Bruges had chronicled the murder of Count Charles the Good in St. Donation’s Church. Galbert’s chronicle indicates how profoundly officials of St. Donation’s and people of Bruges understood Jan van Eyck’s The Virgin and Child with Canon van der Paele.

An Economic Lesson For China And Russia

By Paul Craig Roberts: Is there anyone in Trump’s government who is not an imbecile?
After years of endless military threats against Russia—remember CIA deputy director Mike Morell saying on TV (Charlie Rose show) that the US should start killing Russians to give them a message, and Army Chief of Staff Mark Milley threatening “We’ll beat you harder than you have ever been beaten before”—now the US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin threatens China. If China doesn’t abide by Washington’s new sanctions on North Korea, Mnuchin said the US “will put additional sanctions on them [China] and prevent them from accessing the US and international dollar system.” https://www.rt.com/usa/403118-usa-china-sanctions-north-korea/
Here is the broke US government $20 trillion in public debt, having to print money with which to buy its own bonds, threatening the second largest economy in the world, an economy on purchasing power parity terms that is larger than the US economy.
Take a moment to think about Mnuchin’s threat to China. How many US firms are located in China? It is not only Apple and Nike. Would sanctions on China mean that the US firms could not sell their Chinese made products in the US or anywhere outside China? Do you think the global US corporations would stand for this?
What if China responded by nationalizing all US factories and all Western owned banks in China and Hong Kong?
Mnuchin is like the imbecile Nikki Haley. He doesn’t know who he is threatening.
Consider Mnuchin’s threat to exclude China from the international dollar system. Nothing could do more harm to the US and more good to China.
