Meet The Lawyer Who’s Suing Saudi Arabia For Financing The 9/11 Twin Towers Insurance Fraud For Jewish Owner Pals

I’ve stopped calling what our [US] government has done a cover-up. Cover-up suggests a passive activity. What they’re doing now I call aggressive deception.
– Former Senator Bob Graham, co-chair of Congress’s 9/11 Joint Inquiry
With the recent arrival of our new baby daughter, free time for reading has been in extremely short supply as of late. That said, I did find some time yesterday while she was napping to read a fascinating and infuriating article published at Politico about a New York attorney’s mission to hold Saudi Arabia accountable for its role in financing the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Longtime readers will be aware of the fact that I’ve never accepted the U.S. government’s fairytale story about how the 9/11 attacks went down, and my suspicions of deep Saudi involvement were confirmed by last year’s release of the infamous “28 pages.” Here’s an excerpt of what I wrote at the time from the post, The 28-Pages Are Way Worse Than I Thought:

Israel’s First Trans Officer Helps With Ethnic Cleansing

By Nora Barrows-Friedman: Queer and transgender activists protested an event featuring an Israeli soldier in Seattle on 5 April.
The event was supported by the LGBTQ Commission, a body that advises city leaders on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues.
Two commissioners resigned in protest just days earlier, criticizing the group’s participation as an act of pinkwashing.
Pinkwashing is a public relations strategy that deploys Israel’s supposed enlightenment toward LGBTQ issues to deflect criticism from its human rights abuses and war crimes and as a means to build up support for Israel among Western liberals and progressives.
Lt. Shachar Erez, who has been in the Israeli army for five years, is its first transgender officer, according to The Jewish Daily Forward.
He is on a national speaking tour sponsored by the Israeli army and foreign ministry.
Erez’s tour is part of the “Brand Israel” campaign, an Israeli government effort to market a liberal image of the country to advance commerce and tourism and improve Israel’s international standing.

China Warns Nuclear War "Could Break Out At Any Moment"

By Tyler Durden: “North Korea is a problem,” Trump told reporters at the White House on Thursday. “The problem will be taken care of.” Which prompted North Korea's rebuke of US President Trump's "aggressive words," overnight.
Both China (“The situation now is similar to the time before a storm, and this kind of dangerous situation worth of our attention and we must be alert,”) and Russia (watching the developments around North Korea with "great concern") have weighed in on the increasingly tense saber-rattling occurring between the two nations.
As Bloomberg reports, China warned that a war on the Korean Peninsula would have devastating consequences and "one has the feeling that a conflict could break out at any moment."

Corporate Misandry: An Inconvenience Store Truth

By : Ever think about how many times in the course of your life you’ve visited a convenience store? For most of you, it would be literally incalculable. You might as well count the stars in the sky.
One thing for sure, if you are a regular visitor to convenience stores, you have been to a 7-Eleven store. The history of the company goes back 90 years!
7-Eleven looms large in my consciousness because the location of the first-ever 7-Eleven store is just a few blocks from where I live in Dallas. 7-Eleven Inc. (f/k/a the Southland Corporation) is headquartered in the adjacent city of Irving.
Today 7-Eleven, Inc. has 56,600 stores around the world (roughly 8,500 in the USA) and 90% are franchises. The suits at HQ can’t control everything that happens in every store, but they can take steps to make sure that their franchised stores are granted to the best candidates and their brand is perceived in the best possible light.
Promoting good will among the public is an integral part of running a corporation. A time-tested form of promotion is a contest! And the 7-Eleven folks have come up with a doozy: They’re giving away a franchise!
