Putin’s Assessment Of Trump At The G-20 Will Determine Our Future

By Dr. Paul Craig Roberts: The backdrops to the Putin/Trump meeting are the aspirations of Israel and the neoconservatives. It is these aspirations that drive US foreign policy.
What is Syria about? Why is Washington so focused on overthrowing the elected president of Syria? What explains the sudden 21st century appearance of “the Muslim threat”? How is Washington’s preoccupation with “the Muslim threat” consistent with Washington’s wars against Saddam Hussein, Gaddafi, and Assad, leaders who suppressed jihadism? What explains the sudden appearance of “the Russian threat” which has been hyped into dangerous Russophobia without any basis in fact?
The Muslim threat, the Russian threat, and the lies used to destroy Iraq, Libya, and parts of Syria are all orchestrations to serve Israeli and neoconservative aspirations.
The Israel Lobby in the United States, perhaps most strongly represented in Commentary, The Weekly Standard and The New York Times, used the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon to urge US President George W. Bush to begin “a determined effort to remove Saddam Hussein from Power in Iraq.”

How Zionist Jewish Controlled Imperial Britain Promoted Religion To Stymie Palestinian Nationalism

By Sarah Irving: In the dangerous and inaccurate popular narratives on Palestine, religion – a black-and-white tale of Islam versus Judaism – is often given priority of importance. Religious identities are taken as the simple, unquestioned driving force behind the actions of Palestinians throughout history.
A closer look, of course, reveals the flaws in this image. During the Ottoman period, the people of Palestine might have been more likely to identify themselves in terms of their family, neighborhood, city or profession, depending on which identity the situation called for at a particular time.
Like most other cultures, Palestinian identities were mixed and layered. Their sense of belonging to any kind of social group varied according to the conversation they were having and was situational, rather than static.
At moments when political issues raised their heads, they might line themselves up according to a range of social, religious or economic factors.
The same is, of course, true of Palestinians now. But despite this, the news and popular opinion often conflate Palestinian nationalism simplistically with Islam, even though many Palestinian nationalists were and are Christian.

Person Shared Photo Of Baby Daughter’s ‘Pierced’ Cheek To Make Point About MGM, ...Soft Name Circumcision

By Dave Maclean: A mother has outraged parents by posting a photo of her baby daughter with a dimple 'piercing' – but all was not as it seemed.
In a Facebook post, Enedina Vance, from Ohio, wrote: "So I got the baby girl's dimple pierced. It looks so cute, right? I just know she's gonna love it. She'll thank me when she's older lol.
"If she decides she doesn't like it, she can just take it out, no big deal. I'm the parent, she is my child, I will do whatever I want. I made her, I own her."
The image was shared 12,000 times and received more than 100 comments – and many of those who thought it was real were appalled.
But in amongst the hashtags at the bottom of the post was a clue to the truth behind the story - #sarcasm.
Ms Vance says she wanted to shock parents and start a conversation about the rights and wrongs of parents altering their children's bodies.
She says she's been campaigning against child circumcision, after being asked by a doctor in 1998 whether she wanted her son's foreskin removed.
She says she wanted to make clear that some parents who thought it outrageous to have a child's face pierced would have no problem with choosing to have a child circumcised.
