Mike & Elizabeth Interview Philip Davies MP

J4MB: We recently contacted Philip Davies, asking for an interview, and were delighted when he agreed. He didn’t ask for prior sight of the questions, and the video is here (21:41). He was very friendly throughout our meeting. My thanks to Philip for his time, to Elizabeth Hobson for sharing the interviewing task, and to Ewan Jones for his filming and editing.
From the video description:
We salute Philip Davies MP (C, Shipley), in our view the most courageous MP in parliament, by a country mile. Almost the only parliamentarian in the world ever prepared to stand up for the human rights of men and boys, half the population.
A video of Jess Phillips MP (Labia, Birmingham Yardley), during a meeting of the Backbench Business Committee, mocking and seeking to deny Philip the opportunity to host the first parliamentary debate commemorating International Men’s day, in which suicide (the leading cause of death of British men under 45, in all age groups) was to be the principal issue debated – here.
Our video of Philip’s presentation at the second International Conference on Men’s Issues, London, 2016 – “The Justice Gender Gap” – here.
His comments on Male Genital Mutilation, and its illegality in the UK, during the debate he led in the House of Commons commemorating International Men’s Day, 2018, with a link to a video of those comments – here.
