By Miranda Devine: THERE’S a crisis among young men in the Western World — and it’s because, overwhelmingly, when people talk about young men, it’s only to talk about what’s wrong with them, Canadian clinical psychologist Jordan Peterson says.
“The people who are driving the critique ... regard Western culture as a corrupt, radical patriarchy whose wealth is entirely generated by exploitation — and that anyone engaged with that structure is doing something reprehensible and cruel.”
Overwhelmingly, he lays the blame at the feet of universities.
“All culture has a tyrannical aspect — but to make the case that there’s something particularly tyrannical about Western culture is ... somehow pathological is reprehensible,” he told Miranda Live.
Professor Peterson arrived in Australia last week for a speaking tour talking about PC politics and how it’s taken over thinking.
The Canadian has already built a large following in Australia off the back of YouTube and social media.
