Masked feminist SJW rushed the stage during campus "Men Are Not Women" speech...By Tyler Durden: A speech by commentator Michael Knowles of The Daily Wire on Thursday night at the University of Missouri-Kansas City ended in mayhem after a masked SJW protester stormed the podium to douse Knowles in a chemical substance.
Multiple police jumped on the SJW, wrestling him to the ground as he fired a super soaker water gun at Knowles containing what appeared to be glitter-colored bleach in response to the talk simply titled, "Men Are Not Women". The police later said they responded to what they thought was a bleach attack in progress, given they could smell it — further triggering a police attempt to evacuate the stage and exit area.
Dramatic footage caught much of the incident partway through the presentation, which began escalating as up to half the room was filled with hecklers and far-left protesters attempting to shut the event down.
Hecklers consistently interrupted Knowles by shouting him down and began to exit en masse, after which the young man with the liquid substance approached the stage.
Knowles began addressing the disruptors by saying, “I know, you’re so oppressed, my dears. I know, life is so hard for you. You have to live in the richest, most equitable, most just country in the history of the world. You have to get a college education; you have to voluntarily go to lectures; it’s so awful. I can’t imagine.” This is when chaos ensued. Video of the incident show at least 3 campus security officers trying restrain the attacker, with another two police rushing into the room.

Wow Republican @michaeljknowles was attacked by a masked leftist that shot an unknown substance at him during his event in Missouri. Police took down the attacker and other leftists had the audacity to scream "hands up don’t shoot" at officers. Lunatics! pic.twitter.com/AGNoNg2fJS— Robby Starbuck (@robbystarbuck) 12 April 2019
Absurdly, as the attacker was being tackled and tasered by police, and further as one officer tried to clear the aisle, protesters in the audience chanted “hands up, don’t shoot!” — as if the police themselves were the threat and not a masked man shooting an unknown bleach-smelling substance into the air.
Knowles, who got hit with the liquid in the face, later told The Daily Wire:
The topic of my lecture was 'Men Are Not Women.' Apparently this plain fact was so offensive to some leftist thugs that one of them decided to shoot me in the face and side with a super soaker full of what appeared to be glitter-colored bleach. At first I just thought it was paint because of the color and smell. I was later told it was bleach; police now say that the substance merely smelled like bleach. This is what conservatives on campus are up against. This is the kind of violence conservatives on campus stand to face if they state plain facts and refuse to kowtow to leftist fantasy. The attacker, identified by police as UMKC student Gerard G. Dabu, was taken into custody.
On Friday morning the university released a statement from school chancellor Mauli Agrawal who said police had "no choice but to react" as if a chemical attack was in progress, given it was an unknown substance being sprayed on the speaker.
The press release said the substance had been scientifically tested by authorities revealing it only to be “lavender oil and some other non-toxic household liquids.”
Incident begins after the 19:00 mark below:
A student tried to squirt bleach on me during my speech tonight. Lucky for me we was a left-winger and couldn’t even shoot a squirt gun! pic.twitter.com/VHKS4hD4vW— Michael Knowles (@michaeljknowles) 12 April 2019
Knowles later tweeted the he was unharmed and that “authorities now telling me it was not bleach — unknown odorous liquid, appears the attacker was a hoaxer who was fine getting charged with assault but wanted to avoid a felony.”
Missouri Gov. Mike Parson tweeted of the incident, “This kind of behavior is unacceptable & shouldn’t be tolerated — toy guns and fake chemicals or not, these actions put ppl at risk. All students deserve free speech protections & shouldn’t be persecuted for political beliefs. Appreciate local police for defusing the situation.”

In the aftermath at least one local left-leaning newspaper editorial board issued an op-ed which tried to soften the whole dangerous incident and even the attacker's actions, saying "Knowles couldn’t wait to claim victimhood" and characterizing it as merely a "tiny tit for tiny tat", implying the hosting organization Young Americans For Freedom was of equal blame for merely being conservative.
Thus even when a conservative speaker is literally attacked with an unknown liquid substance by a masked vigilante, it's actually the conservative's fault! — at least in the absolutely warped world of far left Social Justice Warriors.
