Our Western Governments' Sanctions As A Weapon Of Mass Destruction In Syria And Venezuela

Richard Medhurst: "Venezuela and Syria are both under siege warfare by the United States and its allies. Richard Medhurst speaks with Alena Douhan, United Nations Special Rapporteur on sanctions, about her preliminary report after recently returning from Venezuela. It examines horrific effect of United States and European Union sanctions on Venezuela’s various social programs, schools, medical facilities and public infrastructure. Medhurst also sits down to speak with Vanessa Beeley, currently living in Damascus, about the sadistic Caesar Act sanctions, imposed by Trump and continued by Biden, which have caused Syria’s already war-torn economy and society to suffer from increased food and medicine shortages, hyperinflation as the Syrian Pound hits a record low."

It Is Time To Remove The Debt Barrier To Economic Growth

'We propose to deal with the debt crisis by forgiving debts as was done in ancient times.'

By Michael Hudson and Dr. Paul Craig Roberts: Out of habit, American economists worry about federal debt. But federal debt can be redeemed by the Federal Reserve printing the money with which to retire the bonds.  The debt problem rests with individuals, companies, and state and local governments.  They have no printing press.

We have explained that the indebtedness of the population means there is little discretionary income with which to drive the economy.  The offshoring of middle class jobs lowered incomes, and after paying debt service—mortgage interest, car payments, credit card interest, student loan debt—Westerners’ pockets are empty.

This situation has been worsened by Covid lockdowns.

UK Deaths In Perspective

'The result may be a wildly exaggerated fear, unjustified by reality, and this fear may be deliberately promoted by the wicked cynical manipulators.'

By MRA-UK: It is many years since I watched TV and I have never been a big newspaper reader. It is many months since I listened to the radio, and I certainly do not read the news feeds that are thrown at me every time I look at my mobile or PC. Despite that, there are some news items that have such an insistent presence on the interweb that they are forced onto my attention.

Don’t worry – this will be a data driven post, as usual. But first I must set the context without which this post would be unnecessary.

There are cynical people who will exploit heinous crimes, perhaps the murder of an individual or perhaps the homicide of a class of people, to progress a political or personal agenda. This is highly reprehensible.
