Hannan: "The Euro Is The Problem, Not The Solution"

: 72 seconds of crystal-clear thought from English MEP Daniel Hannan as he rather poignantly questions European leaders on the results of last July's European Stress Tests (and the Spanish banks passing with flying colors). In one of the more colorful analogies of the European cataclysm, Hannan describes Europe's self-dealing bailouts as "a transfusion, taking blood from one arm and pumping it into the other arm" noting that unfortunately, there is also a hole in the tube. You simply don't solve a debt problem with more debt; as he concludes "the Euro is the problem not the solution". Source

Lauren Lyster and Heidi Moore infiltrate JP Morgan's Mafia Hearings in Washington DC!

We come to you live from our bunker deep within the newsroom's "fortress balance sheet," because Jamie Dimon was on Capitol Hill testifying about JP Morgan's multi-billion dollar trading loss. We headed to the hill with the protection of a full body suit that repels cronyism and dirty deals...we tried to enter through a revolving door so as not to raise any eyebrows, but there was not one to be found! Perhaps this is only for the seasoned politicians. In any case, Lauren did manage to infiltrate the Capitol one way or another, and she brings you the real story from inside the lion's den!

Biderman & Santschi On "Why Germany Should Leave The Euro"

: While some have discussed the game-theoretic dilemma that Germany faces relative to the 'rest' of Europe, David Santschi of TrimTabs (Biderman's balder buddy) digs into the details as a potential solution (hard as it may be) as Europe's fatal flaw (the currency unionization - but not fiscal or banking union -  of a group of nations with strong sovereign identities). The imbalances are so great right now that the only practical solution David sees is to breakup the Euro-zone, and simply put the best way to achieve a break up would be for Germany to leave voluntarily - establishing a strong currency and in turn saving itself financially. The clear implication is that if Germany continues down the path of printing and bailouts it will be dragged down along with the rest of Europe. The EVP does not minimize this as a 'good' or 'easy' solution - many people would lose their livelihoods and many would lose a lot of money -  but it is the only practical solution that he sees (as Eurobonds, banking unions, and fiscal unions are simply impractical in terms of both effect and timeliness).

US and Israel violate international law with total impunity: Chomsky

A renowned American political analyst says Israel gets away with numerous violations of international law as the Jewish entity is a client of the US and therefore enjoys “total impunity,” Press TV reports.

“…it (Israel) is a client state of the United States; the United States has total impunity and that is inherited by its allies and clients,” American philosopher and linguist Noam Chomsky told Press TV in an exclusive interview on Wednesday.

The comments come as US President Barack Obama on June 5 once again voiced unwavering support for Tel Aviv, reiterating that Washington is “decidedly more attentive” to Israel than it is to the Palestinians.

Obama, who made the remarks at a meeting between White House Chief of Staff Jack Lew and a visiting delegation of the US Orthodox Jewish community, also called on the audience not to cast doubts on his loyalty to his Israeli allies.

“That’s what power is,” Chomsky noted, “so for example the United States itself cannot be brought before any international tribunal. The one attempt to do so, the International Court of Justice- US simply dismissed it.”

Vote for Physical Silver 2012 NOT Obamney

The Heretic presents, from a concept by Chris Duane: V is for Victory!!! Vote for Silver 2012 Written by Chris and Patrick. Allow me first to apologize for this interruption. I do, like many of you, appreciate the comforts of everyday routine - the security of the familiar, the tranquility of repetition. I enjoy them as much as anyone. In the spirit of the Human Revolution and the current Massive Global Awakening, I thought we could mark this upcoming election day on November the 6th this year, a day that is sadly no longer important, by taking some time out of our daily lives to sit down and have a little chat.

SOPA opponents unveil "Digital Bill of Rights"

Sen. Wyden and Rep. Issa want to protect digital citizens.

by The "Digital Bill of Rights" debuted at the Personal Democracy Forum in New York City on Monday. The document draft comes from Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) and Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR), two key figures in the battle against SOPA.

Issa and Wyden created the Digital Bill of Rights because they were concerned about what seemed like a legal oxymoron: lawmakers trying to regulate the Internet without understanding how individuals use it.
"Government is flying blind, interfering and regulating without understanding even the basics," Issa wrote on his website, KeepTheWebOpen.com (you can find a draft of the Digital Bill of Rights there). "Where can a digital citizen turn for protection against the powerful?"
At the conference, Wyden likened this project to a digital version of the "Constitutional convention." It's a convention that Issa and Wyden hope Internet users will participate in. On Issa's site, he openly encourages readers to consider the current draft and suggest revisions (at the publication of this post, several individuals have already logged in to take that offer). Currently, the ten key rights are as follows:
  1. The right to a free and uncensored Internet.

The war of Syria + Why Rand Paul supports Romney!

What's happening in Syria! + "He's (Rand Paul) about to learn the hard way what the liberty movement is about!"

Jesse Ventura: Abolish Both Political Parties "The Democrips and the Rep-bloodicans" + TSA is A Pedophile Playground

Former Governor of Minnesota Jesse Ventura called for the abolition of the Democratic and Republican parities in an appearance last night on CNN, saying they are worse than violent warring street gangs.

In an interview with Piers Morgan, Ventura did not hold back, urging that "We need to abolish the political parties," and "Make them political action committees."

De-mock-racy's fatal flaw: "Why Would Politicians Allow The Free Market To Work And Expect To Be Re-elected?"

Tyler Durden's picture

Between discussions of gold-backed debt issuance in Europe (from Rick Santelli) and why Europe's problem is not merely a banking crisis but far worse (with the need for large-scale default and deleveraging as opposed to constant political intervention to makes things worse - quoting our earlier note on Italy's insanity), Michael Pento asks, rhetorically we pre-supposed: "What is wrong with letting the free markets work here? Let's let what is going to happen, happen!" But Bill Griffeth provides the truth-quote-of-the-day (in a stunning kimono-opening for the CNBC-watching public at large) when he opines on Pento's question that "There is not a single politician who hopes to let the free markets work and be reelected."
Indeed - as Santelli adds: "You Nailed It!"

Massive Debt Collapse with Author F. William Engdahl

The dollar financial system of Wall Street was born not at a conference in Bretton Woods New Hampshire in 1944. It was born in the first days of August, 1945 with the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. After that point the world was in no doubt who was the power to reckon with. This book is no ordinary book about money and finance. Rather it traces the history of money as an instrument of power; it traces the evolution of that power in the hands of a tiny elite that regards themselves as, quite literally, gods-The Gods of Money. How these gods abused their power and how they systematically set out to control the entire world is the subject. Source

British MPs warned over child abuse - Another False Flag Event? Self Serving Government Intent on Total Victoriana Censorship?

Angelo: The recently highly debated issue of internet porn now the front line of the war on internet freedom meets the sad and emotive issue of child abuse as it is waved about as an excuse for lock-down by UK Fe-ministers like Saddam's W.M.D.'s?

I believe it is spurious to connect porn exposure to child abuse given my experience having shared living accommodation with around 1000 other men in private boarding schools, good experience for the following analysis? Where I can concur that around 10% of men did seemed to be homosexually inclined and everyone had been exposed to "tasty literature" as one house master described it, (before the internet age and at about the height of popularity for the most awful filth 'Animal Farm' on VHS) by age 8 maximum.

Might I add there is an unsung 2-5% (psychopaths) who just seem to like fucking with people. These may also be genetic or may have been bread at home. And of course the vast majority are (regardless of their sexuality) ordinary decent individuals.

It is this background that makes me somewhat suspicious of the conclusions of the following report. What's wrong with just saying that there are a bunch of sad depraved either retarded by birth or association who we need to find and deal with. Rather than this return to putting trousers on table legs.

My sympathies go to any child that is unfortunate enough to be in the care or sphere of one of these misfits. And for their protection it is worth remembering that as many women as men show this psychopathic lack of empathy.

Like Sue Berelowitz? Lack of empathy, experience, correct, wrong? A penny for your perspective.

PRESS TV REPORT: A new shocking report has warned that online porn sparks sex attacks by youngsters in Britain, where child abuse is already rampant across the country.

Acting on the report, Deputy Children’s Commissioner Sue Berelowitz was giving evidence to the House of Commons home affairs committee, where she said that girls as young as 11 expect to have to perform sex acts on rows of boys for up to two hours at a time in parts of London, British media reported.
