“I’m going to tell you what I think is going on,” Levin said. “I don’t think insurrection. Law enforcement and national security agencies — they play out multiple scenarios. They simulate multiple scenarios. I’ll tell you what I think they’re simulating: the collapse of our financial system, the collapse of our society and the potential for widespread violence, looting, killing in the streets, because that’s what happens when an economy collapses.”
“I’m not talking about a recession,” Levin continued.
Telling the truth has become a revolutionary act, so let us salute those who disclose the necessary facts.

THIS IS TERROR: Photo of Palestinian children killed by Israeli regime wins World Press Photo award - Kids in the crosshairs
RT: A picture of two Palestinian children killed in an Israeli
regime airstrike has won the 2012 World Press Photo award. And as if to further
prove the danger to the region's youth, an IDF sniper has posted a
photo of a child in his rifle's scope to Instagram.
A procession of wailing men carrying two Palestinian children to
their funeral, captured with the click of a camera, has won the 2012
World Press Photo.
The photo was taken by the Swedish photographer Paul Hansen, working for the Dagens Nyheter newspaper.
Taken in Gaza on November 20, 2012, the photo shows a group of men marching the dead bodies of a brother and sister, wrapped in white cloth, through the city. The piece portrays what became a common scene on the ground during Israel's eight-day military conquest, Operation Pillar of Defense, against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
One of photojournalism's most prestigious competitions, the World Press Photo awarded work this year in nine categories to 54 photographers of 32 nationalities.
"This prize is the highest honor you can get in the profession," Hansen said, "I'm very happy, but also very sad. The family lost two children and the mother is unconscious in a hospital."

Libya Going federal - Ex Green Soldier
Morris: Demonstrations in Sabha and Benghazi for Federalism. Al Jazeera reports them as "Celebrations" - Tripoli pays France and Italy to supply weapons and safeguard certain installations. Benghazi is dangerous with al qaeda and Muslim Brotherhood Militias the most powerful. The South of Libya threatens to cut water supplies to the North if Tripoli cuts electricity to the South. Sirte and Bani Walid are seeking peace and the military left Bani Walid in the last few days. Bombings are frequent in Benghazi with reported deaths today too.

Copyright fascists own our thoughts, now the medical fascists want to own our genes
Federal Court Justice John Nicholas today in Sydney dismissed a 2010 lawsuit aimed at stopping Myriad and Genetic Technologies Ltd. from patenting a gene mutation associated with an increased risk of breast and ovarian cancers.
The issue has divided the global medical community with groups including the Association for Molecular Pathology and the American College of Medical Genetics arguing that Myriad is attempting to get legal ownership of parts of the human body. The conflict returns to the U.S. Supreme Court this year after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit twice ruled that genes can be patented. The U.S. high court agreed on Nov. 30 to hear the Association for Molecular Pathology’s appeal.
Rebecca Gilsenan, a lawyer at Melbourne-based Maurice Blackburn, the firm representing the opponents, said after the Australian decision that they will have to review the 41-page judgment before determining whether to appeal.
“We’re really interested in the U.S. Supreme Court hearing,” Gilsenan said. “We’ll be watching it very closely.”

Greenspan: Ignore The Economy, "Only The Stock Market Matters"
Submitted by Tyler Durden: Starting at around 1:50, Greenspan states the
odds of sequester occurring are very high - in fact, the playdough-faced
ex-Chair-head notes, "I find it very difficult to find a scenario in
which [the sequester] doesn't happen" But when asked how this will
affect the economy, Awkward Alan is unusually clearly spoken - "the issue is how does it affect the stock market."
While not so many of our leaders have taken the path to direct
truthiness, Greenspan somewhat shocks a Botox'd and babbling Bartiromo
when he admits "the stock market is the key player in the game of economic growth." Bartiromo shifts uncomfortably in her seat, strokes her imaginary beard and stares blankly as Greenspan explains that while the sequester will have a real effect on the real economy, "if the stock market can hold up through this, then the effect will be rather minor."
He ends with a couple of wonderful truthisms - data shows that not only are stock markets a leading indicator of economic activity, they are a major cause of it - 6% of the change in the growth in GDP results from changes in the value of stocks and homes. So there it is - if we didn't already know, straight from an old horse's mouth - it's all about stocks!
Fiscal problems? "The problem is so severe at this stage that unless we come to terms with it in a large way, we are running into very serious trouble," but Dr. Greenspan, if stocks stay up, it's all good right? Greenspan's wealth effect meme is all there is...
