Hitler’s Economics & Why You Should Know A Thing Or Two About Them

By Chris Rossini: Hjalmar Schacht was Hitler’s economic guy. According to Wikipedia, Schacht: ”became a supporter of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party, and served in Hitler’s government as President of the Reichsbank and Minister of Economics. As such, Schacht played a key role in implementing the policies attributed to Hitler.”
AmericanFascismNow, we've all heard the anti-Hitler propaganda. But what's the spin on Schacht?
On June 9, 1947 Henry Hazlitt would write in Newsweek:
Nazism was defeated in war. Hjalmar Schacht, the Nazi economic wizard, is in jail.
So Hitler was dead, and his economic guy went to jail
But what about the economic ideas that the two would implement together? What happened to them?
Hazlitt continues:
But when Schacht and his surviving comrades survey the world today, they must feel consoled. Intellectually Schachtism has conquered Europe. The system of price control, wage control, profit control, interest control, exchange control, foreign-trade control, bilateral treaties, rations, priorities, allocations, quotas, with a special license required for almost every more, and with a mounting currency inflation hidden and repressed by these devices – this is Schachtism. And this is the system which nearly every country in Europe has now embraced.

Feminist Propaganda: 1 In 6 Women Are Trafficked For Prostitution In India + Weird Spectacle: Destroying Children “for their own good”

By : Often, International Media opens the eyes of common people like me in India. One fine day in June 2011, I was shocked to be told that 1 out of 6 of all my female friends were trafficked for prostitution. Not only that, one out of six women I will meet at my workplace, on the street, or on the train are also victims of human trafficking. I got enlightened that day due to Trust Law, an NGO run by Thomson Reuters Foundation.
Trust Law Website says (link, link)

India ranked fourth primarily due to female foeticide, infanticide and human trafficking. In 2009, India’s then-Home Secretary Madhukar Gupta estimated that 100 million people, mostly women and girls, were involved in trafficking in India that year.
The practice is common but lucrative so it goes untouched by government and police,” said Cristi Hegranes, founder of the Global Press institute, which trains women in developing countries to be journalists.

Empire's States Strike Back: Washington To Cut Off Power To the NSA

By Michael Krieger: We know the NSA shares data with state and local law enforcement. We know from a Reuters report that most of this shared data has absolutely nothing to do with national security issues. This bill would make that information inadmissible in state court. This data sharing shoves a dagger into the heart of the Fourth Amendment. This bill would stop that from happening. This is a no-brainer. Every state should do it.”
- Mike Maharrey, National Communications Director of the Tenth Amendment Center
In case you haven’t heard of the OffNow coalition, the group is leading a nationwide charge to convince state legislatures to put a stop to the NSA’s unconstitutional spying by restricting crucial state resources such as water and power to NSA facilities. This tactic first received national attention earlier this year when California introduced such legislation, but it does not have actual NSA facilities in the state. Washington State does.
The NSA operates a listening center on the Army’s Yakima Training Center (YTC), and there is a bipartisan effort in Washington to prevent the allocation of state and local resources to the facility as long as the spy agency continues to violate Americans’ 4th Amendment rights. The Bill is called HB2272 and it is based on model language drafted by the OffNow coalition.
Kudos to Washington state, which has been leading the way in various freedom related issues, such as the drone debate as well as marijuana legalization.

UK Grifter Fights To Extract Sperm Of Investment Bankster In Vegetative State

By : A UK woman is currently engaged in a legal fight to “harvest” sperm from her wealthy, incapacitated live-in boyfriend according to the Telegraph.
The woman, identified only as “AB” wants to extract sperm from her boyfriend “P” in order to use it for procreation purposes.  P suffered from a string of serious heart attacks in December of 2013 and is now in a vegetative state. A DNR (do not resuscitate) order was in place until recently when it was lifted after his condition improved slightly.
He is still in a vegetative state, needing a tracheotomy for air and a nasogastric tube for feeding.

Kremlin Returns To Typewriters To Avoid Computer Leaks

By and Tom Parfitt: A source at Russia's Federal Guard Service (FSO), which is in charge of safeguarding Kremlin communications and protecting President Vladimir Putin, claimed that the return to typewriters has been prompted by the publication of secret documents by WikiLeaks, the whistle-blowing website, as well as Edward Snowden, the fugitive US intelligence contractor.
The FSO is looking to spend 486,000 roubles – around £10,000 – on a number of electric typewriters, according to the site of state procurement agency, zakupki.gov.ru. The notice included ribbons for German-made Triumph Adlew TWEN 180 typewriters, although it was not clear if the typewriters themselves were this kind.
The service declined to comment on the notice, which was posted last week.
However an FSO source told Izvestiya newspaper: “After scandals with the distribution of secret documents by WikiLeaks, the exposes by Edward Snowden, reports about Dmitry Medvedev being listened in on during his visit to the G20 summit in London, it has been decided to expand the practice of creating paper documents.”
Unlike printers, every typewriter has its own individual pattern of type so it is possible to link every document to a machine used to type it.

Precious Metals Manipulation Worse Than Libor Scandal, German Regulator Says

Tyler Durden's picture Remember when banks were exposed manipulating virtually everything except precious metals, because obviously nobody ever manipulates the price of gold and silver? After all, the biggest "conspiracy theory" of all is that crazy gold bugs blame every move against them on some vile manipulator. It may be time to shift yet another conspiracy "theory" into the "fact" bin, thanks to Elke Koenig, the president of Germany's top financial regulator, Bafin, which apparently is not as corrupt, complicit and clueless as its US equivalent, and who said that in addition to currency rates, manipulation of precious metals "is worse than the Libor-rigging scandal." Hear that Bart Chilton and friends from the CFTC?

FUKUSHIMA & FRACKING: Half Of Japan Irradiated And 40% of Texas Water Wells Failed Drinking Water Standard Test

tepcoplant2Is this going to be Fukushima2?
By John Ward: What do you do if you’re a government in an earthquake zone that had to take over an incompetent nuclear generating company…because it had allowed a jerry-built plant to go into service, and as a result, irradiated half of Japan….thus becoming insolvent?
Answer: give it a chance to recover by irradiating the other half!
Yes friends, Tepco has form when it comes to less than inspired siting of its nuclear electricity generating plants. On 16th July 2007, a 6.8 Richter scale quake took place in Chuetsu-Oki, in Japan’s Niigata region. Ten people died, over 1300 were injured, 10,000 buildings were seriously damaged, 908 buildings were destroyed, and the total damage came to $US5bn.
In this area Tepco had built a nuclear power plant which just happens to be the biggest one in the world. They built it at Kashiwazaki-Kariwa – slap bang in the middle of the earthquake zone – but they skimped a little here and there on the earthquake-proofing. And as a result of this, one of the transformers in the plant caught fire.
On that occasion, Tepco were lucky: the fire didn’t spread. But they had to shut down the entire plant. And there it has stayed, with a few jagged cracks, until now. Because Tepco desperately needs to repair its finances (which obviously come before repairing leaks) it wants to reopen the plant…..and the Abenauts are hot to trot, because they want this mega-white elephant called Tepco – of which they own a crippling 40% – out of their hair.
