Israel Uses Weapons Containing Carcinogenic Agents Against Palestinians

The number of cancer patients in the besieged Gaza Strip is on the rise as Israel uses weapons containing carcinogenic agents against Palestinians
UK BANNED Press TV:  On Tuesday, Gazan patients and doctors marked the World Cancer Day by staging a protest inside Gaza’s Shifa hospital.
An average of 1,000 cancer cases has been recorded annually among Gazans for the past two years.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said the Israeli regime’s use of internationally-banned weapons has sharply increased the number of cancer cases.

“Thousands of tons of unconventional weapons containing carcinogenic agents were fired on Gaza in the last 14 years. Many of the weapons used by the Israeli forces are internationally banned and contain illegal substances that not only affect people but they also have long-term effects on the environment,” said Health Ministry Spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra.
During the December 2008-January 2009 war against Gaza, Norwegian Doctor Mads Fredrik Gilbert, who volunteered at Gaza’s Shifa hospital, said that some victims had traces of depleted uranium in their wounds.

WIPING OUT THE WHISTLEBLOWERS: FOUR JUMPERS & A MISSING PERSON SPELL PANIC IN THE ESTABLISHMENT

Oilman, Banker, Soldier, Spy: everything is connected
The interconnected worlds of hedge funds, energy, banking, defence, globalism and geopolitics have the ability at times to make the characters from a John Le Carre novel seem one-dimensional and honourable by comparison. The Slog delves further into the the double-dealing world of the élite, and concludes that perhaps at last its members fear they might have a fight on their hands.
Four funerals and an abduction
By John Ward: Like me and millions of others, you’ve probably been following the growing death-toll among financial persons of late. Following the demise of one Morgan pirate last Sunday week,  A Deutsche Bank executive followed last weekend.
Next came (or rather, went) Russell Investments’ Chief Economist and former Fed economist Mike Dueker, this week found devoid of life by a Washington State roadside. Of this last, police said it looked like suicide, which is all well and good, except he seems to have chosen the most athletic way of leaving this world in history: the 50 year old jumped over a 4-foot (1.2-meter) fence before plummeting down a 40- to 50-foot embankment, Pierce County Detective Ed Troyer said yesterday.
The link, however, doesn’t seem to be merely banking and suicide:

End of What You Say?

By It has been the subject of widespread speculation, mostly by women, since Hanna Rosin penned her opus to the decline and fall of the modern male, The End of Men. And at times it would appear to have merit, given the lack many men tapping Hanna on the shoulder and saying something like, “Unlike your husband, David Plotz, I am still have a pulse and an opinion on the matter.”
This set me to thinking, which admittedly can be a dicey proposition, about whether this is indeed the End of Men, especially since so many of them haven’t noticed that they have been given their notice.
Typical male that I am, desperate cling to my white male privilege, I decided to come up with a list of five reasons why we know this is not the End of Men. I mean, aside from the several odd billion of them that are still taking up room on the planet. Feel free to add to the list. That is, if you are silly enough to think your opinion still matters.
Top Five Reasons We Know That This Is Not The End Of Men:
5. You are reading this. Unless someone handed this to you on a piece of papyrus, inked with a mixture of lampblack and gum, then the only way you are going to know this is not the End of Men is because men envisioned, designed and created the technology that women like Rosin use, without understanding, to tell you that the men don’t fit in the modern scheme of things. Oh, we the papyrus, lampblack and gum? Pretty sure that was men, too, but whose counting?
4. You are reading this with the lights on.

Edward Snowden’s Interview with German Television

By Michael Krieger: Many people have lamented the fact that the U.S. lame-stream propaganda media has barely covered this excellent interview of Edward Snowden conducted recently by German television. Some have gone so far as to call it intentional censorship.

Anti-War Goes AWOL: Divide and Conquer in Action

corbettreport: After the election of Obama in 2008, the driving impetus of the anti-war movement evaporated. No longer did it matter that the wars, covert operations, military tribunals and prison torture camps were continuing. In fact, it did not even matter that American military involvement escalated with the Obama handover, expanding into Pakistan and Yemen, involving more drone strikes and extrajudicial assassinations. This was, after all, a Democrat, and so many on the anti-war left were appeased. Groups like Veterans For Peace, which had so loudly and so admirably called for the impeachment of Bush for his participation in war crimes and atrocities have been happy to look the other way while "their guy" in the White House forwards the very same agenda. 'Obama the Baby Bomber!'
