By At the very moment when the operation of women’s shelters in Germany has been subjected to scientific study for the first time, the German Bundestag’s Family Affairs Committee has decided to review the question of whether women’s shelters should receive funding guarantees through the German federal government. Given the political ideology of women’s shelters and the ramifications of such a step, this proposal should be taken under serious review. The answers to a number of questions are still outstanding. Have the services performed in women’s shelters stood the test of time? Are the shelters operated in a professional manner, and have they moved on from an ideology that views men as the perpetrators of violence and women as nonviolent? Have women’s shelters developed a professional understanding of family conflicts that enables them to extend their efforts and include all members of a violent family?
Telling the truth has become a revolutionary act, so let us salute those who disclose the necessary facts.

Snowden Publically Supports Reset The Net Campaign
RT: Nearly one year to the day since the National Security Agency’s secret spy programs were first exposed through leaked documents, the man responsible or those disclosures has come out and endorsed a new anti-surveillance campaign.
Former NSA contractor Edward Snowden — the source of a trove of classified documents that since last June have revealed the inner workings of the United States intelligence community’s vast surveillance apparatus — issued a statement on Wednesday this week in support of the ‘Reset the Net’ campaign scheduled for Thursday, exactly one year after the first news stories stemming from his cache of leaked documents were published.
As RT reported previously, several major internet companies, including Reddit, Mozilla and Google, are planning on participating in Thursday’s event by promoting privacy, security and encryption tools on their respective websites. Now in a statement from Snowden himself delivered through his lawyer to the Reset the Net campaign, the NSA leaker says: “Join us on June 5th, and don’t ask for your privacy. Take it back.”
"One year ago, we learned that the internet is under surveillance, and our activities are being monitored to create permanent records of our private lives - no matter how innocent or ordinary those lives might be,” Snowden’s statement begins.

Polish NGO to Obama: Mass Surveillance is Not Freedom
By Katitza Rodriguez: On June 4, 2014, one day before the anniversary of the Snowden revelations, Poland celebrates 25 years since the fall of an authoritarian regime. On this occasion, President Obama is visiting Poland and meeting with many heads of states - including officials who were affected by the mass surveillance scandal carried out by the NSA.
The United States and Poland have a long tradition of official visits between their leaders. These visits symbolize a close, allied relationship between the two countries and “help advance many political and economic issues,” according to the US Embassy in Warsaw.
Since October 2013, the Panoptykon Foundation, a Polish NGO, has tried to understand the relationship between the Polish and United States’ secret service organizations. Panoptykon believes that the Polish government, by accepting mass and pre-emptive surveillance, is reverting to the much contested practices of the former, authoritarian regime—practices that triggered the revolution 25 years ago. Thus, the NGO has organized a user-generated campaign for June 4, urging people to welcome President Obama to Poland by vocalizing their thoughts on mass surveillance.
Panoptykon is encouraging activists, journalists, and others around the globe to tweet pictures of themselves holding a piece of paper that says, "Surveillance Is Not Freedom. Say it on the 4th of June." These pictures should be shared online, tagged #ObamaPL and #25latwolnosci. The NGO will submit press releases to Polish media, and publish a couple of op-eds to accompany the campaign.

Brainwashing Men And Brainwashing Women
By Tom Golden: For
many years that I have been shocked and confused by the vehemence and
persistence that feminists attack males and also male feminists attack
men and masculinity. Both blame men for most ills in the world. I have
always scratched my head and wondered how they could get so vitriolic
and juiced. It has also confused me how the feminist males could be so
self-deprecating. Then I ran into the brainwashing material by Robert
Lifton and it started to make some sense. The male feminists are
exhibiting very similar behaviors to the people that Lifton studied who
had been brainwashed. The feminists also seem to share some
characteristics with the communist Chinese brainwashers. The following
article will give you a beginning knowledge of the work of Lifton and
you can be the judge about drawing a connection between the two. I am
in no way totally convinced but it sure seems to be a likely connection
worth discussion. See what you think.

CENSORING TRUTH IN THE EU: Rajoy Revealed As Prime Mover For EU Court’s Article 29
How Spain is leading the charge towards fascist corporatism
Some weeks ago, the European Court made a quite extraordinary ruling that gives EU governments the ability to sanitise their online history by petitioning Google and other search engines to remove potentially damaging links to newspaper articles and other websites with embarrassing information.
By John Ward: Although a working party is yet to meet and discuss ‘best practice’ (ironique ou quoi?) in enforcing the ruling, as it stands Italy would have the right to ask Google to take down all references to its blatant lies about ‘economic recovery’ in the Spring of 2013.
It will come as no surprise to discover (as I just have) that one of the prime influencers for Article 29 (the basis for this Orwellian policy) was everyone’s favourite control freak Wolfgang Schäuble; but perhaps more interesting (in the light of information coming through from Spain over the last month) is that it was also pushed with some urgency by none other than Mario Rajoy of Spain.
The Eventual Outcome Of Feminism, Part I
“The founders of a new colony, whatever Utopia of human virtue and happiness they might originally project, have invariably recognized it among their earliest practical necessities to allot a portion of the virgin soil as a cemetery, and another portion as the site of a prison.” – Nathaniel Hawthorne
By Adam Kostakis: It seems sensible, at this stage, to pose the question: why is all this happening? The answer I can offer up, for the purpose of this lecture, is not historical but psychological: it offers explanation through reference to the mental state of feminism’s operators. There certainly are historical processes at work, explored elsewhere, but no social movement survives purely for the sake of its history. Nobody is born a feminist. There must be some stimulus, or stimuli, working to remodel formerly non-feminist women and men into activated feminists. But we cannot explain feminist conversion by the agitation of those already existing feminist activists. We can certainly believe that feminist activism plays a role in recruitment, but this is not adequate as an explanation. Why would an individual then commit to feminism, rather than any other particular social movement whose advocates engage in agitation for the purposes of ideological recruitment? It must be that feminism offers such individuals something that other movements do not. I propose that, by opening up space for perfectly satisfying, collective man-hating, feminism offers a form of catharsis eagerly seized upon by those already predisposed to misandry.
Queen Green Light's Willy Nilly Fracking On People's 'Private' Land - Leak
RT: An infrastructure and competitiveness bill to be announced in the Queen’s speech on Wednesday will change trespassing laws, allowing shale gas exploration firms to drill on private land without requiring the permission of the owner, UK lame-stream media report.
The Queens speech marks the formal start of the parliamentary year and sets the proposed government agenda for the session, which will run from June 4. On Sunday, British media started leaking the contents of this year's address, its topics varying from fracking to a “radical shake-up of workplace pensions.”
Shale gas extraction is not really popular with affected communities. Manchester saw hundreds rally in March demanding to ban the practice. Environmental activists are strongly opposed to the technique, which has already been proven to cause small earthquakes in the US. A number of studies have also revealed water pollution, and the practice has also been linked to health problems, including birth defects in unborn infants in the US.

Ireland's Misandric “Turn Off The Red Light” Campaign Intends To Actively Target All Sexually Active Males
By David Walshe: There is an effort underway to introduce “The Swedish Model” into Irish law on prostitution. In brief, the Swedish model, created in 1999, criminalises the buyer of sexual services but not the seller.
Any consideration of the Swedish model must recognise the genesis of the law and the thinking behind it. The change in the law was incorporated in a government bill, the Violence against Women Act. The thinking which informed the bill was ideologically driven. Its proponents asserted two fundamental propositions: that no woman voluntarily enters into prostitution and that prostitution and sex trafficking are inextricably entwined. No empirical evidence was advanced in support of either even though all that followed was based on them. This is the ideology of radical feminism. The historian Yvonne Svanstrom describes the parliamentary debates as being heavily gendered. In addition, the uniqueness of the proposal was emphasised, all of which took place at an ideological level with no appeal to empiricism which was explicitly rejected.

Two Ukraine Helicopters Shot Down: Watch As Gunship Engages Eastern Militia In Intense Fighting
Submitted by Tyler Durden: Earlier today, we read reports out of Russian Itar-Tass stating that east Ukraine militia had shot down a Ukraine gunship and a Su-25 fighter jet, as well as four APC. We were waiting for an official confirmation from Ukraine as the level of propaganda on both sides is somewhat tricky to filter. We got at least partial proof moments ago from Ukraine's military spokesman Seleznyov, who said via Bloomberg:
- UKRAINE SAYS 2 SOLDIERS DEAD, 42 WOUNDED TODAY IN EASTERN OP
- UKRAINIAN SEPARATISTS SHOOT DOWN 2 HELICOPTERS: SELEZNYOV
People’s militia in the city of Sloviansk, east Ukraine’s Donetsk Region, have downed a fighter plane Su-25 and a Ukrainian helicopter gunship as well as four armored personnel carriers (APC), Sloviansk People’s Mayor Vyacheslav Ponomarev told ITAR-TASS on Tuesday.
Apartheid Zionists Isolated As UN Welcomes Palestinian Unity Government
Orwellian UK BANNED Press TV: The United Nations has hailed the formation of a Palestinian unity government amid growing isolation of apartheid Israel over the move.
He added that the UN “underscored the need for progress towards Palestinian unity in line with existing resolutions, within the framework of the Palestinian Authority and the commitments of the Palestine Liberation Organization.”
"The secretary general counts on a constructive approach by regional stakeholders,” the UN spokesman stated.
Dujarric also said the international body was “ready to lend its full support to the newly formed government in its effort to reunite the West Bank and Gaza,” adding that “the serious political, security, humanitarian, and economic challenges in Gaza, and holding long overdue elections” are issues that need to be addressed.
UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon “welcomes, on the basis of assurances provided both publicly and to the United Nations, the announcement on 2 June by President Mahmoud Abbas of the formation of a government of national consensus headed by Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah.”
