A Child’s First Exposure To Protestors - The Dissident Dad

Black Lives Matter read clearly in large bold letters across several handmade signs at the Austin State Capitol building this past Saturday.
My wife and I had been looking for something to do, and ultimately decided to take a tour of the Capitol building, have a picnic on the grass, and stroll around downtown Austin. Little did we know a planned protest was scheduled, which filled up the State Capitol building with fellow anarchists and libertarians, as well as plenty of communists, socialists, and black power enthusiasts. My kids asked what was going on. There was yelling, a higher than normal police presence (although nothing like we’ve seen in other cities), and people running around with large signs.
My instinctive reaction was a mix between annoyance and anger. I don’t like seeing advertisements for further tyranny; like communist logos, socialist demands, and of course, a call for the very statists that have caused all our problems to introduce new laws. However, before I answered my children’s questions as to who they are, what they are doing, and why they are mad, I took a split second to think it through. My answer was that these are people mad at the government because they feel like the government is picking on them for their skin color.
As I said this, I almost felt regret. Did I just expose an innocent color blind child to racism? Did I just point out that skin color is an issue? I hate this topic, because I feel like I myself am color blind, and I know for certain that my kids are. They’ll play and talk to anyone without ever questioning any difference in that person’s appearance.

Russell Brand Is Wrong About Nudes

Russell Brand gets it wrong. Gynocentric grievance warriors victory is in convincing the public that attraction is the same as distain. And most people believe it. That's how stupid we are. JTO

To Kill A Mockingbird: All Men Are Tom Robinson Now

By I was asked recently by someone still learning about the Men’s Human Rights Movement if there were any books, movies, or other media that are generally popular with or illustrative of what the movement is all about. He was really surprised when I mentioned Harper Lee’s 1960 masterpiece, To Kill a Mockingbird. To me that’s funny; I think Harper Lee’s masterpiece more relevant today than ever.
Perhaps one of the great tragedies of forcing kids to read “the classics” while they’re in school–and To Kill a Mockingbird is assigned reading in schools all over North America–is that they don’t learn to love books like this, they learn to view them as a chore, move as quickly through them as they can, and then forget them. On the other hand, maybe it’s a hidden blessing, as an article like this one might suddenly prompt them to remember it, and look at it anew as adults.
What most people dimly remember about Mockingbird is that it’s a movie about racism in America’s Old South. And while racism is an undeniable component of the story, a deeper examination shows that it is about far more, and if the only lesson we are to draw from it is “racism is bad,” we’ve missed almost everything important about the book. Indeed, while Harper Lee is notoriously averse to speaking to the press or talking about her own work, according to multiple sources, in 1962 she did say this to the Birmingham Post-Herald:
My book has a universal theme, it’s not a ‘racial’ novel. It portrays an aspect of civilization.

Toxic Masculinity: Woman Burns Newborn Daughter Alive

Society as a whole needs to be reminded that women can be every be every bit as evil and vicious. They are just flawed humans like the rest of us, not perfect innocent angels being victimized by toxic masculinity. Raging Golden Eagle

It’s Official: If You Question Authority, You Are Mentally Ill

Only the Sheeple Are Sane
By : This post is about an issue that is by now a bit dated (though the topic as such certainly isn’t), but we have only just become aware of it and it seemed to us worth rescuing it from the memory hole. In late 2013, the then newest issue of the American Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM for short) defined a new mental illness, the so-called “oppositional defiant disorder” or ODD.
As TheMindUnleashed.org informs us, the definition of this new mental illness essentially amounts to declaring any non-conformity and questioning of authority as a form of insanity. According to the manual, ODD is defined as:
[…] an “ongoing pattern of disobedient, hostile and defiant behavior,” symptoms include questioning authority, negativity, defiance, argumentativeness, and being easily annoyed.
In short, as Natural News put it: According to US psychiatrists, only the sheeple are sane.
Every time a new issue of the DSM appears, the number of mental disorders grows – and this growth is exponential. A century ago there were essentially 7 disorders, 80 years ago there were 59, 50 years ago there were 130, and by 2010 there were 374 (77 of which were “found” in just seven years). A prominent critic of this over-diagnosing (and the associated over-medication trend) is psychologist Dr. Paula Caplan. Here is an interview with her:

US Daycare Worker REPEATEDLY KICKS Sleeping 15-Month Old Girl In The HEAD!

A 48-year-old female Florida daycare worker has been arrested after being caught kicking a child on a security camera.
Mrs Linda K. Klemm, a mother-of-four from Tarpon Springs, has been charged with child abuse after the footage captured her attacking a 16-month-old girl who was sleeping on the floor.

Mike Buchanan Debates With Radical Feminist Caroline Criado-Perez

By : It’s been a groundbreaking three days. Following the Buzzfeed News piece which was published at 8am on Wednesday – and by midnight on the same day had attracted over 146,000 ‘hits’ – we’ve had many calls from journalists in the mainstream media. Pieces have appeared – or will shortly appear – in major publications including the Independent, Telegraph, Guardian, Observer, Mirror, either their print editions or on their websites. Most have posted pieces lying about, or misrepresenting, our election manifesto, but we honestly couldn’t care less. Thousands of people have downloaded the document, and it doesn’t take them long to realize the media are lying to them about its contents, or grossly misrepresenting it.
In the past two days I’ve had three television interviews and a radio interview, and more are planned. Yesterday I was a guest – along with Caroline Criado-Perez – on ‘This Morning’, an ITV programme which regularly attracts over two million viewers (mostly women).

Israeli Trained US Police Dash-Cam Video Shows Black Man They Killed As He Was Stepping Out Of The Car, With His Hands Raised!

A newly released video shows a tense traffic stop in the US state of New Jersey ending with yet another killing of a black man by white Israeli trained police.
Press TV: The incident took place on December 30 after police allegedly saw a gun in the glove compartment of a blue jaguar car.
Screaming repeatedly "Don't you fucking move!" and "Show me your hands!" at the African American man in the passenger seat, one police officer approached the car.
Then, the passenger, indentified as Jerame Reid, stepped out of the car, with his hands raised about shoulder level. But the officers shot him dead.

Cyber Bullying, The New Feminist Trend

Feminists certainly do love to harass people while claiming they are the only ones getting harassed. After years on social media being prey to this, I have a few things to say. Miss Misanthropist
