By Janet Bloomfield (aka JudgyBitch): Having never participated in a men’s issues conference before, I went to the ICMI ‘14 in Detroit with high expectations. The media promised me I would face a roomful of raging white male, cisgender misogynists; bitter men who can’t get laid and aren’t allowed to rape, violent members of AVfM staff who would happily bash me in the face and rapists lurking around every corner. I regret to inform you that I was largely, although not completely, disappointed.
First of all, there were chicks everywhere. I could hardly move without woman-slamming some broad who got in my way. Erin Pizzey and Senator Anne Cools woman-spread all over the place. Dr. T. assaulted pretty much everyone with her giant, poufy, utterly magnificent hair. Karen Straughan and the Honeybadgers woman-spread over an entire floor! I wasn’t the only one who found all the vagina disconcerting, either. Photographer’s struggled to find an angle that captured a men only audience. It was damn near impossible with strumpets in every other seat.
There was also a distinct shortage of bitter, angry white men, although a few did show up to snarl and sneer through the whole conference. One man in particular was nasty, snide and extremely belittling. His name was Jeff Sharlet of GQ Magazine. He even brought in his own submissive female, instructing her to wander around offering herself to attendees.

In the eighties, PMPA and  ICI  hit the rocks. ICI was a wholly owned subsidiary of AIB. It collapsed in 1985 with losses of over £200 million. When it was discovered in November 1984 that ICI was operating below the statutory reserve ratio, a request for further capital was made to AIB — ICI had returned a profit of £80 million the previous year. AIB themselves have been implicated in other dodgy shenanigans over the years.
Beef baron, Larry Goodman, has been doing ‘well’ on post crash deals.  Ordinary farmers are angry at the Goodman Group who allegedly influence beef factories to discourage those same ordinary farmers  from competing fairly in beef production. Having access to National animal  data bases factories keep changing  the goalposts for animal age at slaughter to attain prime prices. Somehow Larry always knows when to sell for circa 10-20% more than his competitors. Miraculous predictive powers no doubt?

Foreword by the Saker: The analysis below is, by far, the best I have seen since the beginning of the conflict in the Ukraine. I have regularly posted analyses by Ishchenko before, because I considered him as one of the best analysts in Russia. This time, however, Ishchenko has truly produced a masterpiece: a comprehensive analysis of the geostrategic position of Russia and a clear and, I believe, absolutely accurate analysis of the entire “Putin strategy” for the Ukraine.  I have always said that this conflict is not about the Ukraine but about the future of the planet and that there is no “Novorussian” or even “Ukrainian” solution, but that the only possible outcome is a strategic victory of either Russia or the USA which will affect the entire planet.  Ishchenko does a superb overview of the risks and options for both sides and offers the first comprehensive “key” to the apparently incomprehensible behavior of Russia in this conflict.  Finally, Ishchenko also fully understands the complex and subtle dynamics inside Russian society.  When he writes “Russian power is authoritative, rather than authoritarian” he is spot on, and explains more in seven words than what you would get by reading the billions of useless words written by so-called “experts” trying to describe the Russian reality.
We all owe a huge debt of gratitude to Denis, Gideon and Robin for translating this seminal text, which was very difficult to translate.  The only reason why we can read it in such a good English is because the innumerable hours spent by these volunteers to produce the high quality translation this analysis deserves.

Holy Trinity Of Whistleblowers: Statues Of Assange, Snowden And Manning Go Up In Berlin

RT: One of the German capital’s central squares has become the stage for a provocative art piece, which not only celebrates whistleblowers, but encourages other ordinary citizens to speak out.
“They have lost their freedom for the truth, so they remind us how important it is to know the truth,” Italian sculptor Davide Dormino told the media in Berlin's Alexanderplatz.
The life-sized statues of the three whistleblowers stand upon three chairs, as if speaking in an impromptu public meeting. Next to them is a fourth, empty chair.
For Dormino, who titled his piece, Anything to Say? this is the centerpiece of the composition.
“The fourth chair is open to anyone here in Berlin who wants to get up and say anything they want,” he told Deutsche Welle.

By Stephanie Linning: A law student who clubbed an aspiring male model with a champagne bottle because he was making 'unwanted advances' has been spared jail. 

Sarah McKenzie-Ayres was pictured laughing as she walked free from court after being handed a suspended sentence for striking the man in a Manchester nightclub last September.

The 19-year-old victim, who has not been named, has been left with permanent scarring that has forced him to abandon his dreams of becoming a professional model.

Rolf Harris - Misandric Gynocentric UK

By MRA-UK: In June 2014 Rolf Harris was found guilty of 12 counts of indecently assaulting four girls between 1969 and 1983. Harris denied all 12 charges on which he was found guilty. They were,

• Count one: A woman said Harris touched her inappropriately when she was just seven or eight while he was signing autographs in 1969.
• Count two: Harris was accused of fondling a teenager’s bottom at a charity event in Cambridge in 1975.
• Counts three to nine: A childhood friend of Mr Harris’ daughter, Bindi, said he repeatedly indecently assaulted her from the age of 13, starting in 1978, including once when his daughter was asleep in the same room.
• Counts 10 to 12: Australian woman Tonya Lee, who waived her right to anonymity, said Harris touched her inappropriately one day while she was on a theatre group trip to the UK at the age of 15.

In Count One the woman claimed Harris touched her intimately when she was seven or eight after she queued to get his autograph at a community centre near Portsmouth in 1969. But no confirmation could be found that Harris had even been there, despite searches of local newspaper archives, council records and letter drops appealing for witnesses. This included looking at copies of the Portsmouth News between January 1967 and May 1974. This fact was presented to the court.

WASHINGTON IS A GREAT DANGER TO THE WORLD

By Dana Visalli: I am on a journey through Vietnam with a group of American Vietnam War veterans who now live in Vietnam and work to address some of the profound human problems still caused by a war that ended 40 years ago. Known as VFP Hoa Binh Chapter 160, these men work to help people still being maimed by the estimated one and a half billion pounds of bombs (“ordnance”) dropped by the United States on Vietnam during the war that did not explode at the time they were released (7 million tons, or 14 billion pounds of bombs were dropped on Vietnam and an estimated 10% of them failed to detonate). In addition these American veterans work to help some of the approximately 1 million people (a Red Cross of Vietnam estimate) people born with genetic defects or otherwise disabled or in poor health due to exposure to the 20 million gallons of toxic herbicides sprayed on South Vietnam’s tropical rainforests food and crops. The primary herbicide used was Agent Orange, which contains the known carcinogen dioxin. While the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency denies that dioxin is a mutagen (causing mutant genes), the rate of birth defects in Vietnam as quadrupled since the war.
