“Official” UK Anti-Semitism Definition Gets Two-Finger Salute From Legal Experts
By Stuart Littlewood: The enemies of free speech were having a whale of a time – until this week. Britain’s political parties, further education establishments and BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) groups had been bludgeoned into silence on Israel’s crimes by a bogus definition of anti-Semitism formally adopted and deployed by government, police and assorted pro-Israel pimps, stooges and creeps.
Their bully-boy tactics have now been upset by Free Speech on Israel, Independent Jewish Voices, Jews for Justice for Palestinians and the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, who asked top legal experts for an opinion on this sinister farce.

Wilfully flawed definition
The root cause was been an exceptionally silly, non-legally binding working definition of anti-Semitism issued by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) as follows:Anti-Semitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred towards Jews.
The Surreal World Of Foreign Interventionism
By Jacob G. Hornberger: I published an article entitled “Prepare Now for Blowback,” in which I pointed out what would seem to be obvious to any reasonable person after some 27 continuous years of U.S. interventionism in the Middle East and 16 continuous years of interventionism in Afghanistan: that some people who sympathize with the people who the U.S. government is killing, bombing, and destroying are going to retaliate with terrorist attacks. It’s just a fact of interventionist life.
I suggested that people should ponder the blowback from U.S foreign policy now, when things are relatively calm, because when another big retaliatory terrorist attack occurs here in the United States, rational thinking is going to be in short supply. That’s when U.S. officials will be exclaiming about how the terrorists (or the Muslims) hate us for our freedom and values and will be completely ignoring the role that U.S. interventionism plays in producing the deep anger and hatred that motivates acts of anti-American revenge.
Back on December 1, 2016, I published an article entitled, “OSU’s Foreign Policy Blowback,” in which I commented on how large crowds of people on sidewalks in Las Vegas were an inviting target for a terrorist vehicle attack.

Men v Men And STEM v STEM
By Doug Mortimer: After decades of simmering on the back burner, the topic of immigration and how it affects American society has finally been moved to the front burner, and the heat is getting turned up higher and higher. Pundits of all persuasions have explored the pros and cons of immigration in every way imaginable, except one: its effect on men.
In the bad old days, America spread across a continent but was undeveloped. Lots of grunt labor was needed. The beauty of grunt labor is that anyone can do it. There is nothing preventing any able-bodied person from performing unskilled labor, but since men tend to be bigger and stronger, the immigrant work force was predominantly men. Some brought their wives and families along but many left them in the old country and sent money home. Even today, this is often true.
The more men you import to do the scut work, the less you have to pay to have it performed. The labor market, like any other market, is subject to supply and demand. But experience shows that markets can be rigged; specifically, the labor market can be rigged by artificially increasing the number of working men through mass immigration.
In the 19th Century, Chinese men (often referred to as coolies) were imported to work in mines and build railroads in the western U.S. (and Canada).

Students Lose Marks For Using ‘He’: Universities Penalise For ‘Offensive’ Gender Phrases In Essays And Exams
Via Mike P, J4MB: The start of the piece:
Essays will be marked down unless they use ‘gender-sensitive language’, students at a British university have been told.As always, passive-aggressive feminist ‘academics’ who are parasites on taxpayers, mainly men – they’d be utterly unemployable outside academia
Many universities are already advising students and staff not to use ‘gender-offensive’ terms such as ‘he’ or ‘she’ to describe people that could be either male or female.
And terms such as ‘mankind’, ‘manpower’ and ‘manmade’ are frowned upon by academics if used in essays.
But now the school of social science at the University of Hull has gone one step further by threatening to deduct marks from students for using such phrases.
A document sent to students reads: ‘Language is important and highly symbolic.
‘In your essay I thus expect you to be aware of the powerful and symbolic nature of language and use gender-sensitive formations.
‘Failure to use gender-sensitive language will impact on your mark.’
