Julian Assange, Edward Snowden, STEEMIT - Lee Camp Interviews Suzie Dawson

: Independent journalist Suzie Dawson has written a very important and very long (a short book really) article about Julian Assange. In a nutshell it says that he is undisputedly a hero and that it is a moral disgrace that our governments are persecuting him, and that he might well die if he is held in captivity for much longer. You can see the full article here, and a summary, chapter list, of it here.
I wholeheartedly agree with Dawson.
Lee Camp does a good job interviewing her here in the first 20 minutes of this video. It is mostly about Assange, but also has good info about the latest on Snowden, and a bit at the end explaining about the anti-censorship media platform STEEMIT, which I wrote about yesterday, where Russia Insider will also be publishing going forward. Both Camp and Dawson are active on STEEMIT.

The Jew, The Vulture And The Eagle

By Gilad Atzmon:
This parable provides a devastating glimpse into Jewish self-identification. - The Jew is a wounded little bird.
The Goyim (the rest of humanity) are vultures. And the eagle is the messiah - the savior of the Jews.
This is the view of the poem, “The Little Bird is Calling”, that was written in 1947 by Malka Steinberg Saks in the aftermath of the devastation of World War II. The poem came to life a year before the establishment of the Jewish State and the brutal ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people.

A Truly Historical Month For The Future Of Our Planet

: March 2018 will go down in history as a truly historical month
March 1st, Vladimir Putin makes his historical address to the Russian Federal Assembly.
March 4thSergei Skripal, a former UK spy, is allegedly poisoned in the UK.
March 8thBritish officials accuse Russia of using nerve gas to attempt to murder Sergei Skripal.
March 12th, Theresa May officially blames Russia for the poisoning and gives Russia a 24-hour ultimatum to justify herself; the Russians ignore that ultimatum. The same day, the US representative at the UNSC threatens to attack Syriaeven without a UNSC authorization.
March 13th, Chief of Russia’s General Staff Valery Gerasimov warned that “in case there is a threat to the lives of our military, the Russian Armed Force will take retaliatory measures both over the missiles and carriers that will use them”. The same day Chief of the Russian Armed Forces’ General Staff, Deputy Defense Minister, General of the Army Valery Gerasimov had a phone conversation with Marine Corps General Joseph Dunford, chairman of the United States’ Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Crypto-Topia In The Caribbean

Max and Stacy discuss Trump blocking Broadcom’s $117 billion bid for Qualcomm on ‘national security’ grounds and what a similarly protective measure could do for Puerto Rico’s dilapidated electric grid. Perhaps a future grid rebuilt by entrepreneurs would see a more hurricane sensible system relying on microgrids and mesh networks for secure and stable delivery? In the second half, Max interviews cryptocurrency investor turned Puerto Rican resident, Michael Terpin

Washington Has Declared Hegemony Or War

By Paul Craig Roberts: I agree with Stephen Lendman (below) that the Russian government’s efforts to deal with the West on the basis of evidence and law are futile.  There is only one Western foreign policy and it is Washington’s.  Washington’s “diplomacy” consists only of lies and force.  It was a reasonable decision for Russia to attempt diplomatic engagement with the West on the basis of facts, evidence, and law, but it has been to no avail.  For Russia to continue on this failed course is risky, not only to Russia but to the entire world.
Indeed, nothing is more dangerous to the world than Russia’s self-delusion about “Western partners.”  Russia only has Western enemies. These enemies intend to remove the constraint that Russia (and China) place on Washington’s unilateralism. The various incidents staged by the West, such as the Skirpal poisoning, Syrian use of chemical weapons, Malaysian airliner, and false charges, such as Russian invasion of Ukraine, are part of the West’s determined intent to isolate Russia, deny her any influence, and prepare the insouciant Western populations for conflict with Russia.
To avoid war Russia should turn her back, but not her eyes, on the West, stop responding to false charges, evict all Western embassies and every other kind of presence including Western investment, and focus on relations with China and the East.  Russia’s attempt to pursue mutual interests with the West only results in more orchestrated incidents. The Russian government’s failure to complete the liberation of Syria has given Washington Syrian territory from which to renew the conflict.  The failure to accept Luhansk and Donetsk into Russia has provided Washington with the opportunity to arm and train the Ukrainian army and renew the assault on the Russian populations of Ukraine.

Feminist Amnesty International: Trumpeting For War… Again

By Paul De Rooij: One must marvel at the first few paragraphs of Amnesty International’s recent press release:
“The international community’s catastrophic failure to take concrete action to protect the people of Syria has allowed parties to the conflict, most notably the Syrian government, to commit war crimes and crimes against humanity with complete impunity, often with assistance of outside powers, particularly Russia. Every year we think it is just not possible for parties to the conflict to inflict more suffering on civilians, and yet, every year, they prove us wrong…
Right now, in Eastern Ghouta 400,000 men, women and children, who have been living under an unlawful government siege for six years, are being starved and indiscriminately bombed by the Syrian government with the backing of Russia. […] The international community had said ‘never again’ after the government devastated Eastern Aleppo with similar unlawful tactics. But here we are again. Armed opposition groups have retaliated by indiscriminately shelling two villages in Idleb, which they have also besieged since 2014.” [1]

Women Leaving STEM For... Social Justice!

Raging Golden Eagle: And I bet a good chunk of them will join the chorus asking why there are so few women in STEM. You can't make this up! But what's worse is their proposed "solution" to women leaving STEM...
