All morning long NPR has been conducting eulogies for warmonger McCain, who is having a state funeral both in DC and in Arizona. Liberal Democrat Charles Schumer wants to rename the senate office building named after Richard Russell, a real senator, after McCain, a pimp for the military/security complex and supporter of every terrorist group that Washington could organize to sic on the Soviets, the Sandinistas, the Libyans, the Syrians. https://consortiumnews.com/2018/08/27/the-other-side-of-john-mccain/
McCain’s hero status from being a POW in North Vietnam is disputed by other POWs who say that he collaborated with the North Vietnamese.
It was John McCain’s father, Admiral John McCain, who covered up the Israeli attack on the USS liberty that produced 208 US Navy casualties. Admiral Tom Moorer, Chief of Naval Operations and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told me that a real US Navy admiral would have resigned before he would participate in a shameful coverup at the expense of the lives of American service men.

Feminism Is Hate Speech

Is this a fair assessment of feminism?
Let us examine statements by prominent feminists to gauge their sentiments. And, as a trial exercise, let us substitute the referent, in most cases “men,” with other referent categories, to see how we feel about the altered statement.
“The Future is Female”
This slogan was displayed on a T-shirt sold by a feminist bookstore in 1975, and reproduced in Los Angeles in 2015. According to Rachel Berks, who is responsible for the resuscitation of the T-shirt, “It’s thrilling to see people embrace something that came out of the ’70s lesbian separatist moment.”[1] The popular shirt with its slogan is widely displayed in North America.
But the slogan was not entirely original in 1975, Sally Miller Gearhart, the author of The Wanderground, said in her 1982 pamphlet  “The Future, if there is one, is female.” Nor is the idea deemed out of date, as the popular T-shirt shows. Addressing the 2017 MAKERS conference, Hillary Clinton said, “Despite all the challenges we face, I remain convinced that, yes, the future is female.”[2]
Once critic, Heather Wilhelm, asks, “What does “the future is female” even mean? Is one half of the human race going into hiding? Fading into irrelevance?” [3]

The Tectonic Plates Of Geopolitics Are Starting To Shift

The United States is currently waging economic warfare against one tenth of the world’s countries with cumulative population of nearly 2 billion people and combined gross domestic product (GDP) of more than $15 trillion.
These include Russia, Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Myanmar, the Democratic Republic of Congo, North Korea and others on which Washington has imposed sanctions over the years, but also countries like China, Pakistan and Turkey which are not under full sanctions but rather targets of other punitive economic measures.
In addition, thousands of individuals from scores of countries are included in the Treasury Department’s list of Specially Designated Nationals who are effectively blocked from the U.S.-dominated global financial system. Many of those designated are either part of or closely linked to their countries’ leadership…
But in recent months it seems that America’s unwavering commitment to fight all of the world’s scourges has brought all those governments and the wealthy individuals who support them to a critical mass, joining forces to create a parallel financial system which would be out of reach of America’s long arm. Should they succeed, the impact on America’s global posture would be transformational.

Evidence grows of continued meddling by Netanyahu government in UK politics

By Jonathan Cook: Has Israel been covertly fuelling claims of an “anti-Semitism crisis” purportedly plaguing Britain’s Labour Party since it elected a new leader, Jeremy Corbyn, three years ago?

That question is raised by a new freedom of information request submitted this week by a group of Israeli lawyers, academics and human rights activists.
They suspect that two Israeli government departments – the ministries of foreign affairs and strategic affairs – have been helping to undermine Corbyn as part of a wider campaign by the Israeli government to harm Palestinian solidarity activists.

The Israeli foreign affairs ministry employs staff of the country’s embassy in London, which was at the centre of suspicions of meddling in UK politics provoked by an Al Jazeera undercover documentary aired last year.
