The South fought because she was invaded. 
Slavery was not an issue. The US Constitution assigned the matter of slavery to the individual states.  Slavery was not subject to federal legislation. Lincoln acknowledged this over and over. Lincoln offered further inducement to the South to remain in the Union with the Corwin Amendment, a constitutional provision that forbade any federal steps against slavery ever.

Dred Scott was a slave who belonged to a United States Army officer, an army surgeon, John Emerson.  In 1834 Emerson took Scott with him when assigned duty at Fort Snelling, which was located in Wisconsin Territory, a part of the Louisiana Purchase where slavery had been prohibited by the Missouri Compromise of 1820.
Under established law and precedent at the time, law and precedent acknowledged and upheld by southern courts, an owner who took his slave into a non-slave area was regarded as having freed the slave.  Dred Scott loved Dr. Emerson and did not press his case until years after Dr. Emerson’s death.

The same goes in print and online. Newsweek’s editor Josh Hammer decries “cancel culture,” but he’s excluded Palestinians from his op-ed page while repeatedly publishing anti-Palestinian bigots.
Hammer can be expected to sideline Palestinians for as long as he can.
In some ways, it’s more painful when Beinart gets to go to the front of the line to discuss one state, while Palestinians who have advocated such a state with equal rights for much longer don’t get their views on the subject lifted up.

As defined by Urban Dictionary, a "Gloryhole is a hole made in a thin wall or other type of partition where a man can insert their penis for sexual stimulation by an anonymous person on the other side."
The crowdsourced online dictionary for slang words also said these holes "can be found in bathrooms in the stall wall, in private rooms found in adult bookstores, and in dark rooms and labyrinths in bathhouses. By Dr. Paul Craig Roberts: Some black Americans have created a black version of the KKK.  They have even adopted similar terminology.  The leader is called “Grand Master Jay.”  The job of the organization, NFAC, is “to protect the black community” from white people. 
The KKK’s job was to protect the white Southern community, which was under attack by Reconstruction. 
The NFAC sees the plight of the American black exactly as the white liberal elites want blacks to see it—oppression and abuse by whites.  This keeps the American people divided and power safe in the hands of the corrupt elites.
Grand Master Jay wants black people to secede from the US just as the Southern States seceded.  As Abe Lincoln believed, Grand Master Jay believes that blacks and whites can’t live together.
If the NFAC cannot get a piece of the US set aside for blacks as a black country, Grand Master Jay’s “other aim is for an exodus to Africa, to establish our destiny and build our own nation,” another of Abe Lincoln’s intents for black Americans.
Grand Master Jay echoes many prescient observers, such as George Orwell, when he says: “When a people are denied knowledge of their culture and history of self, they have nothing to be proud of.”

Jewish Owned Google And Apple Face Backlash After Deleting Gentile Palestine From Maps

By Tyler Durden: Over the weekend social media posts claiming that US tech giants Google and Apple "removed" Palestine from their map applications went viral.
The posts were somewhat misleading, notably one which garnered over a million "likes" on Instagram, given it appears Palestine had never been labeled on the searchable maps in the first place.
Yet it still unleashed a storm of controversy, leading to Palestinian leaders calling for a boycott of Google among their population, and the Palestinian Authority (PA) declaring it would look for an "alternative".
As people in the West Bank and Gaza brace for an expected Israeli annexation of the Jordan Valley and up to 30% of West Bank territories, the PA vowed in the wake of the Google controversy: "this is a revolutionary year, and we will fight for the needed change to bring Palestine on the maps," according to a statement.

Tech Insider: Researchers at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) have created an artificial womb. Inside of the womb, they placed a premature lamb fetus. They then kept the fetus in the womb for four weeks. The big question was: Would the lamb fetus survive? Turns out, it didn't just survive, it thrived. Over its four weeks in the artificial womb, the lamb started to grow a wool coat, gained weight, and even opened its eyes. The researchers successfully tested eight lamb fetuses this way. But growing lamb fetuses is just the beginning.
Ultimately, the researchers are working toward creating an artificial womb that could sustain human babies.
