Cornel West Cites 'Anti-Palestinian Prejudice' In Resignation Letter To Harvard

By MEMO: In his blistering resignation letter to Harvard University, Dr Cornel West, one of America's leading public intellectuals, cited the administration's "anti-Palestinian prejudice" as one of the main reasons for departing after four years of teaching. West is expected to return to Union Theological Seminary, where he first taught 44 years ago.

West shared a copy of his letter on Twitter yesterday explaining the reasons for his resignation. The 67-year-old philosopher, political activist, and social critic has been involved in a drawn-out public dispute with Harvard Divinity School over his tenure since early this year.

Considered an intellectual giant by many, West's fallout triggered speculation over why such a prominent figure would be denied tenure.

He said that antisemitism was part of a broad family of hatreds, and that antisemites start by attacking Jews but “always” move on to focus their hate and violence on other groups as well.

Lapid insisted that antisemitism was akin to other hatreds, such as ones held by those “who participated in the slave trade.”  Presumably the ignoramus isn’t aware that some historians assert that there were Jews prominent in the African slave trade.

New Poll: 25% Of Jewish Americans Think Israel Is An Apartheid State

Jewish Israel does not have a right to exist - A quarter of Jewish voters polled by the Jewish Electorate Institute said they believed Israel is an apartheid state. This number rises to 38% for voters under 40.

By Michael Arria: A new poll of Jewish voters in the United States found that a quarter of them believe Israel is an apartheid state. The survey also indicates that support for Israel is declining among the group, specifically among younger Jews.

Beitar Jerusalem’s owner Moshe Hogeg said on Thursday that he had received “an unequivocal demand” from FC Barcelona that the pre-season friendly must not be played in the city and so he called it off.

By Dr. Paul Craig Roberts: The virus is real.  It is a danger to people with poor immune systems and to those with co-morbidities.  People of any age could have impaired immune systems and serious illnesses.  However, immune and health problems are more associated with the elderly as they have had a lifetime to engage in bad habits and non-healthy living.  The vast majority of those whose deaths were attributed to Covid had co-morbidities.

Even so, the elderly stricken with Covid still had a high survival rate of about 95 percent. Everyone else had a 98 or 99 percent survival rate. It is impossible to have precise numbers because the data is skewed to maximize Covid deaths.  Hospitals were given economic incentives to report all deaths as Covid deaths as long as the person had Covid or a positive PCR test. Allegedly, a person who died in a motorcycle crash was listed as a Covid death because he had a positive PCR test. 

The real question is whether the people who reportedly had Covid died from it, or from the lack of treatment, or the wrong treatment.
