By Caitlin Johnstone: The Washington Post has a new article out bemoaning the fact that Russian military commanders are declining calls from the Pentagon to discuss their operations in Ukraine (I dunno guys, might have something to do with the fact that the US is sharing extensive military intelligence on exactly those operations directly with the Ukrainian government). Tucked all the way down in the eighteenth paragraph of the article, we find a much more interesting revelation: that Washington’s top diplomat has made no attempt to contact his counterpart in Moscow since the war began on the 24th of February.

Blinken Hasn’t Even Bothered To Try To Speak With Lavrov Yet Pentagon Claims Russian Military Declining Calls

The Pentagon claims to be attempting high-level talks with Russia, yet US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the US’s top diplomat, hasn’t even bothered to try to speak with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov. Meanwhile the US & NATO continue to stoke the fire they created by pouring weapons into Ukraine via the Polish border.

But Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said in a statement that the Russian officials "have so far declined to engage."

Vladimir Putin has put Russia’s nuclear forces on high alert and has issued threats of nuclear retaliation should western powers try to intervene in Russian military operations in Ukraine. The Biden administration’s first Nuclear Posture Review will be out soon and will likely mirror the changes in Russia’s nuclear posture in some ways. The probability is skyrocketing of a mass extinction event which could easily block out the sun for years and starve everyone to death who isn’t lucky enough to be killed quickly in the initial inferno.

Then I see Biden making other moves to anger Russia and China apparently on behalf of the American people as if he too wants to provoke a nuclear war. For Whom?

It's clear that they don't represent me. As a matter of fact I don't know anyone who's not a politician who wants the UK to start a nuclear war with, or 'ethnically cleanse' Russia and China. What’s wrong with this picture? Are they not supposed to be the representatives of the people of Britain and America?
