By Dr. Paul Craig Roberts: One result of the just concluded NATO Summit is Germany’s decision to host US intermediate-range missiles. Prior to 2019 when Washington cancelled the INF Treaty, the treaty prevented such deployment.

The INF Treaty was signed by Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev on December 8,1987, and the treaty was ratified on June 1, 1988. The treaty was part and parcel of ending the cold war. Reagan called the treaty a “step toward a safer world.”

“The 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty required the United States and the Soviet Union to eliminate and permanently forswear all of their nuclear and conventional ground-launched ballistic and cruise missiles with ranges of 500 to 5,500 kilometers. The treaty marked the first time the superpowers had agreed to reduce their nuclear arsenals, eliminate an entire category of nuclear weapons, and employ extensive on-site inspections for verification. As a result of the INF Treaty, the United States and the Soviet Union destroyed a total of 2,692 short-, medium-, and intermediate-range missiles by the treaty’s implementation deadline of June 1, 1991.”

By Hal Turner: Speaking at the NATO Summit, taking place at the White House, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken confirmed: Donated F-16 fighter jets are "on the way" to Ukraine.

The F-16's are coming from Denmark and the Netherlands.

This is a GIGANTIC problem.

The F-16 is a remarkable aircraft.  Even though it was designed decades ago, it is still one of the most capable, agile, fighter jets in the world.

But in order to make it so agile, the designers had to carefully match it's weight to it's speed.  And one of the areas where they had to cut weight, is in the landing gear.

So when the F-16 needs to takeoff or land, it **must** have a smooth runway.  Except . . .  there are none left in Ukraine. Russia has bombed them all.

Kiera Driscoll, age five, died Monday, January 19, 2015. She was vaccinated against the flu. She became sick suddenly over the weekend and collapsed Monday from CARDIAC ARREST.

Kiera Driscoll, 5, had a slight fever on Sunday morning, but she seemed to be feeling better after taking some children’s ibuprofen, said her father, Patrick Driscoll.

“In fact, she was playing outside that afternoon with my wife and even made a comment that it was ‘the most fun time ever,'” Driscoll said.
