We will be interviewing representatives of the Palestine Trauma Centre (UK), set up to support mental health and community workers in Gaza who are dealing every day with a traumatized population.
The representatives have just returned from a trip to Gaza where they worked with Palestinians suffering the psychological impacts caused by living under occupation.
We will also be looking at the impact of the dispossession of land, military attack, lack of freedom of movement and harassment on Palestinians and find out what the centre has been doing to help them to cope with these factors.
We will draw on specific examples of the conditions under which Palestinians are living and the treatment they are facing to illustrate the types of trauma they suffer.
