UK Police cleared after blatant killing of passer by at G20 protest

PC Simon Harwood was caught on mobile footage hitting him with a baton. Minutes later he was dead.Yet, on Thursday PC Harwood was cleared of the killing. Ian Tomlinson's family has endured a three year long battle to get justice. Throughout they've accused the police of a cover up. At the time of Tomlinson's death, the police said he died of natural causes.
Until the mobile footage showed otherwise. They then denied trying to mislead the public.In July 2012, despite an investigation, PC Harwood was told he won't face any charges.Almost two years after his death in March 2011 an inquest was finally launched. It ruled Ian Tomlinson WAS unlawfully killed by PC Harwood. He was charged with manslaughter. But has now been found not guilty. Source
