Orwellian UK BANNED Press TV: Russian President Vladimir Putin has dismissed UK Prince Charles’ controversial comparison of him with Adolf Hitler as “very wrong” and “unacceptable.”
Putin's response came just days after the Prince of Wales during his royal tour of Canada reportedly likened the Russian president to the anti-communist National Socialist leader.
I am sure he understands that...this is not what monarchs do.”
Putin, however, said “noting surprises” him “any longer” due to what he has seen over the past few years.
Charles, who is visiting Canada, made the comment during a meeting with World War II veterans and their families at an immigration museum in Nova Scotia.
The comments come as Charles is due to meet the Russian president for a World War anniversary in France next month.
The Russian president said his policy on the ongoing crisis in Ukraine would not be influenced by Charles’ remarks.
Russia, however, rejects the accusation, saying the pro-Russia protests in Ukraine began spontaneously against the new government in Kiev.
