The United Nations Takes A Bold Stance Against Global Misogyny + Silencing Free Thinking And Dissent

By : The United Nations earned the admiration of the world today, declaring a new mandate to protect the world’s women from misogyny. Addressing the Council on Women and Girls, UN President Sam Kahamba Kutesa announced:

The United Nations takes the well-being of girls and women seriously, and as of today, a new force of Blue Helmets will be trained to insert themselves around the world to rescue women subjected to forced marriages, genital mutilation, acid attacks, public stonings and whippings for crimes ranging from being the victims of gang-rape to marrying without permission. If the women consent to the rescue, they will be taken into protective custody and relocated to a Western nation of their choice.
We are also pleased to announce a new training initiative, welcoming all women and men truly concerned about the well-being of women and girls. Recruits are invited to register at their local police stations, where they will be trained to take part in these rescue operations. We look forward to welcoming the millions of women and men from Western nations who are prepared to put their lives on the line to take a stand against global misogyny. Too many girls and women are suffering under oppressive regimes that would maim, torture and kill them for the freedoms we take for granted in the West.

It’s time to show the world we mean business, and the United Nations is pleased to lead the way.

Yeah, no.
The UN is taking a brave stand against misogyny by suggesting the world censor the internet to protect some rich, whiny, white women, who make thousands upon thousands of dollars as professional victims, from people saying mean stuff to them on Twitter. Bitches are allowed to cheat on their boyfriends, fuck journalists to get better reviews of their inane games, and if you question the ethics of whoring for good coverage, you’re a goddamn misogynist who hates women!
Luckily, the women in Afghanistan are safe, because they don’t have internet*.
Well, that takes a load off of my mind. Don’t know about you, but gosh, it sure does feel good to know no one is tweeting mean shit to women in Kabul! Shooting them for going to school? Come on, what’s more dangerous? Bullets, or tweets from Milo? He’s really mean! That woman-hater!
This latest example of sippy-cup wielding damsels demanding protection from criticism is all part of a larger trend that I find very, very interesting. In a very literal way, rich, white feminists are demanding the return of the patriarchy, only this time, they want the benefits spelled out more clearly. The central feature of all these ridiculous, infantalizing demands is that an authority figure intervene in women’s day-to-day lives to protect and insulate them from the slings and arrows that come with living as an adult in a world full of other adults, some of whom are assholes (a mirror will come in handy, feminists, if you want a clue as to what an asshole looks like).
#HeForShe – men, stand up and declare your intention to protect women and girls from violence. Men and boys? Fuck them, they can protect themselves. Men are responsible for the safety of women and girls, and must take actions to protect them, even at the expense of their own well-being.
#YesMeansYes – men, you are required under penalty of expulsion, to accept responsibility for women’s sexual choices. Under no circumstances are you to assume that women are autonomous, thinking, independent adults capable of making choices and accepting the consequences of those choices. It is your legal responsibility to probe a woman’s mind to ensure that she actually knows her own, scattered little mind. And understand that if you fail to meet the needs she has in addition to physical pleasure (text her back, motherfucker), you can retroactively be declared guilty of rape.
#SafeSpace – women are so mentally fragile, so delicate, so easily frightened, they must not be exposed to any ideas that might ‘trigger’ their unreliable minds into frenzied hysteria. All persons in positions of responsibility and authority (mostly men) must protect women from bad feels.
#ShirtGate – men, you must govern your sartorial choices carefully, because women who are intensely in love with the workings of the Large Hadron Collider can be frightened off pursuing a career in the area if your shirt contains images of sexy cartoon ladies. Women are just as intelligent and capable as men, but so mentally fragile, they can be deterred from expressing that intelligence in the area of science and technology by a shirt.
#DongleGate – men, you must govern your words when women are present, for just as the STEM ladies can be frightened by a shirt, so too can they be frightened by any reference to male genitalia, no matter how light-hearted the tone. And remember that you need not even be addressing the ladies at all. If they merely overhear a dick joke, their interest in technology will collapse along with their delicate sense of worth and ability.

Women are special, delicate creatures that men must protect.

Women cannot be trusted to make rational decisions about sex, and men must make sexual choices on women’s behalf, and offer themselves as the guilty party should they fail to meet the lady’s expectations.

Women are mentally unstable, easily shattered porcelain dolls that must be coddled, indulged and kept from any of the hard-thinky stuff, which is far better suited to men.

Men must always dress appropriately in front of the ladies, lest the ladies become offended and not able to carry out their duties.

Women must be protected from any reference to male genitals, lest they swoon and lose their ability to carry out their duties.
This sounds like an 18th century novella written by a white knight of the highest order! How is it possible that we have come full circle? I suppose the adage about not remembering history is true when it comes to constructing the popular conception of proper, white, womanhood. The laundrymaids and farm wives of the period likely scoffed heartily at the notion that women are fragile, delicate creatures who can’t handle anything even remotely sexual. Scrubbing out menstrual rags and breeding livestock puts the kibosh on that rather nicely. It’s only privileged, rich, pampered women who have ever had the luxury of declaring themselves delicate, fragile creatures in need of constant supervision and protection.
And it remains true today. There is only one class of women who can afford to demand a world in which they are never offended, never confronted with hard truths, never held accountable for their own choices, never denied the indulgence of their most irrational whims: college-educated, pampered white women. Just as the Victorian conception of womanhood led to an epidemic of mental illness among the women required to emulate children, so the modern conception of fragile, triggered, easily deterred and perpetually offended womanhood leads to an epidemic of mental illness.
These bitches are literally crazy!
The Atlantic ran a great article on The Coddling of the American Mind, but we have to admit, this has come, mostly at the behest of women, who have discovered that the whole equality canard actually kind of sucks, because A) it’s tough to compete with men; B) they are much happier at home with children; C) true equality means surrendering some very real privileges; and, D) choices come with consequences.
Bring back the patriarchy!
It’s really quite amusing, and there is a fascinating admission of truth hiding in feminist demands that authority step in and enforce patriarchal concepts of womanhood. It’s one I’ve been slowly coming to for some time: men and women are not equal, and never will be. Or, phrased another way, men are women are not equal and treating them as if they are leads to mental illness and deep unhappiness for women and men alike.
Does this mean we should abandon all attempts to achieve gender equality? Not quite yet. Certainly, women have reached peak misery, but none of this will change until men reach peak misery, as a collective. Men are still at the stage of thinking of these issues as individual problems. They have yet to understand that the personal is political, as early feminists liked to say. Once men do understand that women have gained the upper hand, largely through the electoral system, they will take corrective actions.
At that point, feminists better pray men have rejected their demands for the return of the patriarchy, because real, actual patriarchy can get nasty. Ask women in Kabul what a real patriarchy looks like. The alternative to equality is equity. Send men and women into competition with one another, and the men will win, almost always. Understand that men and women are not competitors, but complements, and you have the Netherlands, where women do not earn as much money as men, do not control or administer the formal systems of power (courts, police, corporations, etc.), do not place their children in institutional care from infancy, do not sacrifice the well-being of their communities and families to pursue money and consistently report themselves as the happiest women in the world.
Feminists are leading us into a terrifying world where appeals to authority to prevent women from experiencing disagreement or offence are having the desired affect: the UN wants to control how the modern world uses the internet to protect some rich white ladies from having their ideas challenged, sometimes in language that sends them to the fainting couch! Naturally, many of these women don’t mind dishing it out, but they must never, ever be called ‘cunts’, lest their delicate sense of propriety be offended! The vast majority of women are not grateful to feminists for defining women as essentially children. The vast majority of women are not pleased that feminists consider women too stupid to make basic decisions about their own lives. If men are responsible for my well-being, my safety, my sexual choices, the career I choose to purse, my perpetual comfort, should they vote for me, too? Approve my applications for credit? Determine what hours I am allowed outside the home? Supervise my interaction with other men who might rape me?
Think it through, you morons. This will end nowhere good, for either women or men.
When it comes to reversing the destructive legacy of feminism, women and men play a complementary role. IMO, our role as women is to police other women, and make it clear we do not share the #HiveMind of feminists. We must criticize feminism in terms both harsh and mild. We must refuse their attempts to define us as children. We must support men as they educate other men about the realities of feminism. And then we need to stand back. I’m guessing a lot of men will object heartily to what I am going to say next, but truth is truth: when it comes time to do the real work of change, it’s men who get it done. When men work together collectively, wars are waged, barns are raised, machines are assembled, and civilizations are built. Throw some men on an island and some women on another island, and that’s exactly what happens. Men create a society, women decorate it. And of course, do the work of producing the next generation.
Feminists have ruined the happiness of an entire generation of women. Those women are likely lost. They will end their days as angry, miserable, bitter human beings who drank the Koolaid and discovered it was poison. And somehow, I don’t think coloring books, crayons, cookies and videos of puppies will fill the void.
Welcome to adulthood, ladies. Choices have consequences. And you’ve made bad ones.
Our job is to save the next generation.
We’re on it!
Lots of love,
JB
