Brendan O’Neill: 'We [UK] Are Sleepwalking Into An Authoritarian State'

talkRADIO: Columnist Brendan O’Neill has criticised the “new normal” of coronavirus restrictions, as the government increases fines for people who repeatedly refuse to wear a face mask. Speaking with talkRADIO’s Ian Collins, the Spiked editor said: “I fear that we are sleepwalking into an authoritarian state “All these very authoritarian measures that are referred to as the new normal – the question is, when will the new normal end and the old normal come back?”
