RN: At a press conference, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov answered a question about Ukraine obtaining the status of a candidate for membership in the European Union. Will this EU decision have any practical consequences? Or is it just a demonstrative action against Russia? Lavrov said that the European Union over the past few years has evolved very much, if not mimicked in the direction of acquiring an aggressive ideological background, primarily a Russophobic background. If a country is an EU candidate, then it has no choice but to support all foreign policy approaches of the European Union without exception, including all those measures that the European Union is taking with respect to the Russian Federation.
If you want to be a candidate for the EU, then on the way to membership you must take a Russophobic position. Once Hitler gathered under his banner a significant part of the European countries for the war against the Soviet Union. Now the European Union, together with NATO, is also gathering such an already modern coalition to fight, and by and large for the war with the Russian Federation.
