RN: There is a tendency to militarize the Indo-Pacific region by combining the efforts of the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, while expanding the presence of NATO here! Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov gave an interview at the East Asia Summit in Phnom Penh (Cambodia). Theses: NATO claims to play a leading role in the Indo-Pacific region. And they are already moving the so-called Defense Line to the South China Sea. And here there is a tendency to militarize this region by combining the efforts of local allies of the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan with the expansion of NATO's presence here. Russia said all this frankly at the summit.
Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang also outlined his assessments, which are in line with Russia's. But, unfortunately, this is unlikely to set the United States and its allies to take into account the interests of most countries that are located in this region.
