TOI: Satellite images have revealed significant damage to Abu Dhabi’s Al Dhafra Air Base following a missile strike by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The facility, which hosts around 2,000 U.S. troops, including drone operators and F-35 stealth fighter units, sustained heavy damage to multiple hangars. Airbus Defence and Space PlĂ©iades Neo satellite imagery shows one hangar shredded by fire and another with roof damage, highlighting the strike’s impact on repair and logistics areas. Al Dhafra has long been a strategic hub for U.S. operations in southwest Asia, with the American presence only recently publicly acknowledged by the UAE.
