Lying To Get Laid - A Criminal Offense? Careful What You Wish For Ladies And Step Away From The Mascara.

By Proving once again that misandry is not a “real thing” and that men face no institutional discrimination that renders them completely powerless, New Jersey Assemblyman Troy Singleton has sponsored a bill that would make men lying to women to get into their pants a form of “sexual assault”.

New Jersey law Assemblyman Troy Singleton has sponsored a bill which would make “sexual assault by fraud” a punishable offense. In short, the bill hopes to expand the definition of sexual assault in that state to include “an act of sexual penetration to which a person has given consent because the actor has misrepresented the purpose of the act or has represented he is someone he is not.”

He. Emphasis most assuredly mine. This bill is meant to target men who lie to women. Men who presented themselves as someone they are not for the purposes of getting laid, and not the other way around. Let’s pretend we give a shit about equality (news flash: we do) and make this law universal. Anyone who presents themselves as something or someone they are not, to entice someone into consensual sex, has committed sexual assault.
Guess what you stupid bitches, women are guilty a gazillion times more often of this than men.

Ever seen these pictures before?

Porn stars before and after make-up. Aside: whenever people remark to me that “I look familiar”, I always respond with, “Do you watch a lot of porn?” I find this hilarious, and it’s funny to watch people mentally try and spackle on the whore paint to see if maybe, yeah, I am that porn actress they like so much.
Why do women wear make-up? According to Psychology Today the top five reasons women alter their appearances with cosmetics are:

  1. To get men to approach them
  2. To create the illusion of symmetry aka beauty
  3. To look younger
  4. To look fertile
  5. To appear healthier, more confident and richer
A woman whom men in general would not approach, who is not possessed of the facial symmetry that signifies beauty, who is a bit older and perhaps not as fertile as she once was, who has less than perfect health, less confidence and less money than she might like, can deploy the skillful use of cosmetics to represent herself as something she is not.
Precisely what the law would prohibit men from doing on pain of criminal penalty.
Let’s go further. Make-up is temporary, and there are a number of different  ways that women specifically alter their appearances so they look like something they are not that vary in their degrees of permanency.
How do I fool thee gentle swain? Let me count the ways….
Let’s start at the top. I can color my hair – make it lighter to seem younger, make it a uniform color to hide grey hair so you won’t know how old I am. I can change the texture, either by straightening or curling. I can add volume by the use of styling products or extensions. I can add length – have glossy, thick hair cascading to my waist by purchasing hair extensions sold by some impoverished Indian or Eastern European woman. I can change my skin tone by applying fake tan lotion or using a sunbed, so you think I am more youthful than I am, or in possession of sufficient funds to spend ample time lounging on a beach somewhere soaking up the sun. I can use fillers, Botox, acid peels, lasers and even scalpels and sutures to wage war against the march of time across my face. I can shape my eyebrows, take drugs or get extensions to give me the eyelashes of a doe-eyed innocent. Not a day older than 26! Why, how observant of you….
I can alter the contours of my body by adding breasts, sucking out fat, tightening muscles, plumping up hands that always betray the truth. If surgery is too harsh, or too expensive, I can squeeze into Spanx, a push-up bra and add some high heels to create the illusion of slender height. I can use clever stripes and blocks of color and endless combinations of shapes and pleats and ruching to make you think I am someone or something I am not.
I can go from Plain Jane to Jessica Rabbit.

And so what????
I am not a huge fan of make-up in my day to day life, and rarely wear any. But when I am going to appear on YouTube or be profiled in Vice Magazine, you’re damn right I take full advantage of all the cosmetic tricks in the book to look as attractive as I can. It’s 100% vanity. I have little tiny wheel in the back of my brain that spins the “it’s important for you to look polished and professional” story, but that’s pretty much bullshit.
I want other people to think I am attractive.
Both men and women. Because I am heterosexual, it’s nice to have men think I look pretty, but a secret longing I think most women likely share is to have other women think you are pretty. Women judge each other far, far more harshly than men do, so when other women compliment me, it carries ten times more weight. It’s also a really good indication that the woman in question is secure and happy and likely friend material because she doesn’t see you as threatening or encroaching.
Does this make me fake? Uh, yes. Yes it does. We are all “fake” to a certain degree, some of which makes civilization much more pleasant and bearable. Very few men have underarms that smell like sandalwood and bergamot, but I thank you heartily for being fake. Very few of us have breath that smells of mint or cinnamon (unless we’ve just eaten mint or cinnamon), but we are all grateful for fakers who insist on toothpaste or mints.
There is something much, much more nefarious and insidious going on with this case. The attempt to punish misrepresentation applies only to men for a very good reason. If you read the case that prompted the bill, a woman fell for a man who said he was a secret agent in need of a quick $5000, which she obliged him, and then never saw the bastard again.
There are many words we could use to describe this woman but let’s just stick with stupid for brevity and courtesy.
This bill, and the whole impetus behind making misrepresentation a criminal offense is the assumption that women are stupid and should not be held accountable for that. There are two parts to that – let’s look at them individually. Women are stupid. Laura Kipnis, a feminist professor at Northwestern University just caught holy hell and was sued by feminists for the outrageous offense of claiming women are adults with agency. Just today, she won her case, and the Title IX violations of which she was accused by feminists were thrown out.
I’ve said it before, but feminism has morphed into an ideology that reduces women to the legal and moral status of children, while screaming for them to have the social privileges of adults. I am certain the Pankhursts would turn in their graves at the quasi-toddlerhood modern feminists insist women be reduced to, replete with crayons, cookies and puppy videos.
Women are not responsible for their stupid choices. When men are blinded by youth and beauty and make foolish choices that render them penniless, the world gives a big old shrug and says “So what? You play, you pay.” We giggle when the overweight, pimply nerd hits it big and is suddenly besieged by hot chicks with fake tits. He’s not dumb. He knows the deal, it’s his life. But when overweight, pimply women buy some bullshit story about secret agents and needing a few thousand bucks suddenly he’s the criminal?
lottery
Bullshit. Women are not perpetual victims, but they are humans, and as humans they are capable of hitting well over 9000 on the stupid meter. Why wouldn’t they be? When itty bitty humans (otherwise known as children) do really stupid things, we chastise them and also sympathize with them. In rare cases when adults should have known children are stupid and will do stupid things and take no measures to prevent that from happening, we will hold adults responsible. Leave the gate to your swimming pool wide open when there are curious toddlers in the neighborhood and you will be held liable, because you are liable.
Assemblyman Singleton is attempting to reduce women to the status of toddlers. Literally. A grown woman, with a lifetime of experience and no doubt a treasure trove of tricks in presenting herself as something she is not, would like to see a man who tricked her held criminally responsible for the fact that she is a gullible fool. He left the gate to the pool open. This isn’t just the Assemblyman, either. From Laura Kipnis, to the attempt to criminalize holding hands to absurd rape culture shenanigans to trigger warnings to safe spaces, feminism is trying to remove the responsibilities of adulthood from women while retaining the status. I for one, hope they keep it up. I hope they accelerate their program to have women declared de facto children. I hope they demand prams for every woman in the world, because the more they do so, the more women reject the label.
I will never embrace an ideology that demands I be treated as a child, incapable of agency, responsibility or accountability. We completely insult and dishonor the men and women who fought for women to have the opportunity to compete with men head to head.  Few of us capitalize on that opportunity since few of us are interested, but every woman, I am certain, appreciates the fact that we could, if we wanted to. Modern feminism infantilizes half of adult humanity, and in every poll that comes along, they lose more and more support.
My tagline on this site reads the radical notion that women are adults. With each new episode of idiocy from the feminist vanguard, the idea inches closer to the banal notion that women are adults.
Women are adults.
This is not confusing. Most women already know that. And we look forward to the day feminists catch up with the rest of us. It’s happening.
And it won’t be stopped.

Lots of love,

JB (The radical notion that women are adults)
