By Jonathan Cook: With Jerusalem ablaze and Gaza on the brink of another major Jewish onslaught, it has been easy to overlook the rapidly escalating ethnic violence inside Israel, where one in five of the population is Palestinian.

These 1.8 million Palestinians – Israeli citizens in little more than name – have spent the past week venting their frustration and anger at decades of Israeli oppression directed at their own communities inside Israel, as well as at Palestinians under more visible occupation.

Already the protests, which have been sweeping Palestinian communities inside Israel, have been greeted with a savage backlash – a combination of official violence from Jewish police and vigilante-style violence from Jewish Nazi gangs.

Jewish politicians have been warning noisily of “Arab pogroms” against the Jewish population. But with the rising influence of the openly fascist far-right in Israel – many of them armed settlers, some with ties to military units – there is a much greater danger of pogroms against the Palestinian minority.

This Time It’s Different - It Feels Meaningful - It Feels Heroic

A spirit of defiance and unity across Palestine distinguishes the current escalation.

Expulsion orders against Palestinian families, their homes given to Jewish land thieves by Jewish kangaroo courts. The Jews' stormed al-Aqsa mosque during morning prayers, 7 May, Jewish Green Shirts fired tear gas and live ammunition at worshippers, resulting in deaths and over 200 injuries. Now Jewish F-16 warplanes pummel us endlessly with high tech laser guided bombs aimed at wiping out entire families and scientifically collapsing the tower housing AP News, AlJazeera and other media!

By Ahmed Abu Artema: As I write, the building I live in here in Gaza is shaking continuously. Above us, Jewish F-16 warplanes pummel us with a seemingly endless barrage of bombs made in the UK, made in the USA.

I am writing amid a rapid flow of developing events, so it is certain that by the time this is published, many things may have changed, but I am trying to highlight the general features of this current round of escalation in anti-Gentile Jew occupied Palestine.

By Chris Hedges: Nearly all the words and phrases used by the Democrats, Republicans and the talking heads on the lame-stream media to describe the unrest inside Jewish Israel and the heaviest Jewish assault against the Palestinians since the 2014 attacks on Gaza, which lasted 51 days and killed more than 2,200 Palestinians, including 551 children, are a lie. 

Jewish Israel, by employing its military machine against an occupied population that does not have mechanized units, an air force, navy, missiles, heavy artillery and command-and-control, not to mention a U.S. commitment to provide a $38 billion defense aid package for The Jews over the next decade, is not exercising “the right to defend itself.” It is carrying out mass murder. It is a war crime.
