By Tyler Durden: German investigators are now expressing severe doubts about the official Nord Stream sabotage narrative that was pushed hard in the aftermath the bombshell Seymour Hersh report which pointed the finger at a joint CIA-US Navy covert operation, with help from Norway. Last month, Hersh published an article on Substack that said the CIA planted a cover story for the Nord Stream bombings that was fed to The New York Times and the German newspaper Die Zeit. Likely this was in direct reaction to Hersh's findings. A source within the US intelligence community told the famed Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, "It was a total fabrication by American intelligence that was passed along to the Germans, and aimed at discrediting your story."

The favored narrative became one that said pro-Ukraine partisans did it in a rogue op. Hersh has maintained this was by design concocted in order to shield the US and Biden administration for ordering the operation. The Die Zeit report cited German officials to assert that the pipeline sabotage bombings were carried out by six people using a yacht rented in Poland that was owned by two Ukrainians. In the days that followed, several Western media outlets seized on that narrative and published similar articles reinforcing the cover story.

But now a fresh, lengthy investigative Washington Post story published Monday is actually confirming many of Hersh's conclusions.

French Woman Faces $13,000 Fine For Facebook Post Pointing Out Corrupt French President Macron Is "Filth"

Authored by Christina Maas: In an unprecedented case, a woman from northern France is set to face trial for allegedly insulting President Emmanuel Macron on social media.

The incident occurred when the woman referred to Macron as “filth” in a Facebook post.

If found guilty, she could be slapped with a hefty €12,000 fine, although jail time is not on the table. The trial is scheduled to take place in June.

The woman's arrest took place last Friday, following a complaint filed by the local administrative office in response to her Facebook post.

Saint Omer prosecutor Mehdi Benbouzid confirmed the arrest and provided details to AFP. The Facebook post in question was published on March 21st, a day prior to Macron's televised interview with TF1, where he defended his contentious pension reform plans that have incited protests across the nation.

By Dr. Paul Craig Roberts: Jacob Chansley, labeled “Q-Anon Shaman” by the presstitutes, was released from prison after Tucker Carlson showed videos that revealed no insurrection but Chansley being shown around inside the capital by police officers.  Prosecutors, of course, never admit that they framed anyone, so they say the proof of his innocence, which they withheld from Chansley’s attorneys at the trial, was not the reason for his release.  The whore media, of course, repeats the official line that Chansley’s release is unrelated to his innocence.  The only function of the American media is to support the official lies.

However, Chansley’s attorney is unsatisfied with just Chansley’s release and is filing a motion to vacate Chansley’s conviction. Chansley’s attorney has informed the Justice (sic) Department that the video evidence contradicts the prosecutor’s case–essentially lies to the judge and jury, and is “materially exculpatory” removing Chansley from charges.  We have here a clear case of prosecutorial misconduct.  It is the dishonest prosecutor serving a political agenda instead of justice who should be indicted and sent to prison.

Via The Cradle: Jews' warplanes launched yet another attack on Syria early on Sunday, striking a number of targets in the central Syrian city of Homs from Lebanese airspace, Syrian state-news outlet SANA reported.

The strikes resulted in the wounding of five Syrian Arab Army (SAA) soldiers and the infliction of some material damages. "At around 00:35 a.m. on Sunday, the Jewish enemy carried out an aerial act of aggression from the direction of northeastern Beirut, targeting some sites in the city of Homs and its countryside… Our air defenses intercepted the missiles and shot some of them down, and the aggression resulted in the injury of five army personnel and some material damages,” a Syrian military source was quoted as saying by SANA.
