Experts show that she does not have enough evidence to prove her case, and that nobody has confirmed her story. She claims that Kavanaugh covered her mouth and feared that he was going to accidentally kill her. She said that he had trouble taking off her clothes as she was wearing a one piece bathing suit in her accusations of sexual misconduct. She continually emphasized that Kavanaugh pushed her onto the bed to potentially rape her. The house party was set in Washington, DC in the 1980s. Ford declared before the American public that “It is not my responsibly to determine whether Mr.Kavanaugh deserves to sit on the Supreme Court. My responsibility is to tell you the truth”. Christine Blasey Ford is testifying against Judge Brett Kavanaugh who is up for nomination on President Donald Trump’s team. Donald Trump labelled Ford’s words and accusations false. Trump spoke about his own experience of false allegations claims, where he claimed the women got paid to testify. Fox News, CNN and other media claim that this is a political battle which has erupted between the Republican & the Democrats. Other claims that Fox News is against the Trump administration. This case is another high profile case about the #metoo movement. Bill Cosby was recently convicted of sexual assault, and now Kavanaugh has to testify at his hearing to prove his apparent innocence. Ford claims that Kavanaugh attempted to rape her in high school at a party. On September 23rd Deborah Ramirez also alleged sexual misconduct against Kavanaugh. Julie Swetnick followed suit in claiming that Kavanaugh and his friend Mark Judge tried to engage in gang rape.
