Hillary’s Harpies Stumble In Search Of Work-Drink Balance

By Kathy Gyngell: What a wonderful world it is. Equality is a great thing isn’t it? We have much to thank it for, we really do. On one side of the pond, we see women so intoxicated with power they emulate the worst of the opposite sex. On this side we see women getting, well, just straight intoxicated.
Seeing the avid feminist and Clinton groupie, Senator Elizabeth Warren, on the news yesterday warning Donald Trump just how nasty women could be – as if he did not already know – brought me up short. "Nasty women vote', she shrieked through my TV screen from a Clinton campaign rally, as if it was something to be proud of. So that how America’s top female democrat behaves. Wow!
There they were, two women seeking high office on the grounds they can be and are as nasty as the nastiest man. Out and proud. That is where forty years of feminism has brought us. Thanks a lot. What a great virtue! The founding fathers must have been turning in their graves.
“Donald Trump disrespects – aggressively disrespects – more than half the human beings in this country”, Warner bawled as Hillary leered and gloated in appreciation, her thighs ‘woman spreading’ on a stool behind. What fun they were all having, showing they could get as down and dirty as the best (or worst) of them? Yeah – we can bully as much as the next man. Cheers and clapping.
“Nasty women have really had it with guys like that. Get this, Donald, nasty women are tough (I think he knows) nasty women are smart (that’s disputable) and nasty women vote (so do nice ones).
High on selling her very nasty credentials, Elizabeth gathered steam: “On November 8th, we nasty women are going to march our nasty feet to cast our nasty votes to get you out of our lives forever”.
Just imagine a male candidate getting away with screaming such threats at the female half of the species! He would be toast.
The feminists’ endgame for power was revealed for all to see. It is no more and no less than unalloyed bullying, call it browbeating, domineering, tormenting or what you will, it was written all over Warner’s angry face.

I would guess it is a flavour of what is to come from Clinton’s ‘Scrutiniser in Chief’ as the Senator is tipped to become. But if she has not tipped some of the ‘still to decide' voters back over to Trump as a result of her histrionics, I would be very surprised.
She appears to be touched with the same brand of hubris star dust that has marked out her future boss. “Everything HRC touches she kind of screws up with hubris,” said Colin Powell of Hillary Clinton last year. "I would rather not have to vote for her”, he reflected, “…(she has)…a long track record, unbridled ambition, greedy, not [sic] transformational, with a husband still d**king bimbos at home."
Now this patrician politician has reluctantly endorsed her - the monster that America’s most vocal feminists are proud to see as their first woman President of the United States.
Whether the more plebeian voters will bring themselves to follow suit is another matter.
You would think it would be glaringly apparent that Clinton’s feminism is for the few, not the many; that for every pushy feminist who has thrust herself into power in its name, thousands more have been betrayed and deceived. As they will continue to be by her policies, like her choiceless ‘investment in childcare' proposals (Trump has bravely suggested by contrast tax breaks for stay at home parents).
Over here, feminism is doing its worst for ordinary women too. It has driven them to drink. You could say rising female alcohol consumption is the real tracker of feminist progress. And it has not even required the imposition of one quota for the girls to achieve gender parity in this sphere. Never mind work-life balance, work-drink balance is what consumes modern young women, apparently determined to outstrip their male counterparts in the boozing stakes. If this is where women’s lib has led us, it is depressing.
Power mad or pitifully drunk and powerless just about sums up the crazy effect of feminism on women today. Now we can add drunkenness to the catalogue of female unhappiness, anxiety and mental ill health that every new survey reveals.
The promised freedom that the 'super fems' have delivered to us lesser ladies is no more than a daily after work ‘wine o’ clock’ - in which women can drown their relationship free, mothering free, child free and family free sorrows after another day on the work treadmill.
