In my home country, the U.K., men are discriminated against in education and workplaces (often explicitly through quotas favouring women or by missing out on support only available to women), in the criminal justice system (in which men are treated far more harshly than women) and, as fathers, where they are likely to be systematically erased from their children’s lives if they’re unlucky enough to find themselves in a family court.

Is A Major Attack On Syria Feasible? Or Are Russia's Area Denial Forces Just Too Strong?

By Military Watch: With the United States, Britain and France all reportedly making preparations to launch a major offensive against Syria, and threatening use of force on a scale far larger than that of the attack carried out in April 2018, Russia has notably responded by moving naval assets to the Mediterranean and deploying its warships in defensive positions to deter a potential second Western attack.
While Russia has previously tolerated Western interventions against Damascus on a small scale, namely token missile strikes initiated with prior warning which were further blunted by Syria’s own air defences, a larger strike which could have a significant impact on the outcome of the war - at a time when Damascus’ forces and those of its allies prepare for a major ground offensive against the Jihadist held province of Idlib - could well cross a red line which would lead to Russian intervention on the side of its Middle Eastern ally.
To be able to deter a Western attack however, Russia will need to demonstrate that it has a credible chance of protecting Syria against the combined firepower of its adversaries despite the far smaller size of its forces in the country

US Says Assad Has Approved Gas Attack In Idlib, Setting Stage For Major Military Conflict With Nukes v Russia

The Wall Street Journal has just published a bombshell on Sunday evening as Russian and Syrian warplanes continue bombing raids over al-Qaeda held Idlib, citing unnamed US officials who claim "President Bashar al-Assad of Syria has approved the use of chlorine gas in an offensive against the country’s last major rebel stronghold."
And perhaps more alarming is that the report details that Trump is undecided over whether new retaliatory strikes could entail expanding the attack to hit Assad allies Russia and Iran this time around. 

That's right, unnamed US officials are now claiming to be in possession of intelligence which they say shows Assad has already given the order in an absolutely unprecedented level of "pre-crime" telegraphing of events on the battlefield. 
And supposedly these officials have even identified the type of chemical weapon to be used: chlorine gas.

Moorer was speaking generally but he had something specific in mind, namely the June 8, 1967, Israeli attack on the American intelligence ship, U.S.S. Liberty, which killed 34 American crewmen and wounded 173 more. The ship was operating in international waters and was displaying a huge stars and stripes but Israeli warplanes, which had identified the vessel as American, even strafed the life rafts to kill those who were fleeing the sinking ship. It was the bloodiest attack on a U.S. Naval vessel ever outside of wartime and the crew deservedly received the most medals every awarded to a single ship based on one action. Yes, it is one hell of a story of courage under fire, but don’t hold your breath waiting for Hollywood to make a movie out of it.

North Korea leader Kim Jong Un has in the past days and week seemed somewhat desperate to telegraph to Trump that he is fully committed to denuclearization.
The latest such signalling is reported via Reuters early Sunday:

Maggie and I were deeply impressed with the professionalism and planning of those who organized this event.  I can’t really add to the words others have already written about the experience, but I do want to expand on some thoughts I had while we marched down St Kilda Road.
One of my concerns before I decided to attend was how I would manage to control my emotions if confronted by one of the ranting lunatics who were protesting our gathering. When I saw the huge police presence on our arrival the images I had pictured on the train trip into the city began to dissolve. I felt sure the scenario I pictured, of a purple haired, tattooed woman screeching in my face and poking her fingers into my chest was now highly unlikely. My fear was based upon the idea that I would be placed in that age-old dilemma all men fear. When an aggressive woman gets in a man’s face his options as far as responses go, are extremely limited.
What should you do? Smile and try to look composed and cool even as the woman’s spittle is on your face and she is branding you a Nazi, KKK member and a woman hater in a shrill, enraged voice? So much easier said than done.
Do you shout back and immediately give the media fodder for the angle they have already decided to take? That angle being one which focuses on the “angry, aggressive misogynists who are marching because they want to remove women’s rights and encourage rapists to rape.”

The New York Times reports that an Apple spokeswoman said the app was removed under company policies that prohibit apps which contain content that is "offensive, insensitive, upsetting, intended to disgust or in exceptionally poor taste," however she did not note what specific content resulted in the app's removal.
Jones and his empire have also been banned from YouTube, Facebook, Google Podcast, Spotify, iHeartRadio, MailChimp, Disqus, Linkedin, Flickr, Pinterest and several others in what silicon valley swears wasn't a coordinated "unpersoning" of Jones. 
"Because I play devil's advocate, because I play both sides, they've taken me out of context, they are using me as a test case to try to bring an EU style web censorship," Jones said several weeks ago. "They've got mainline Democratic senators saying they ought to restrict Fox News, Tucker Carlson, Matt Drudge, the President himself. They are misrepresenting what I've said and done and are using that to set a precedent for internet wide de-platforming, censorship beyond what Russia does, what China does, ahead of the midterms (election). The whole thing is fake."
