Apartheid Gulag: US Special Envoy For Israel-Palestinian Talks Resigns

The chief US envoy for the so-called peace talks between apartheid Israel and the Palestinian Authority has resigned nearly two months after the collapse of the talks. Indyk 'Israel to blame for the collapse.'
Orwellian UK BANNED Press TV: On Friday, the US State Department announced that Martin Indyk, who was appointed to the envoy post by Secretary of State John Kerry last July, will return to his former position as Vice President and Director of Foreign Policy at The Brookings Institution.
“Ambassador Indyk has invested decades of his extraordinary career to the mission of helping Israelis and Palestinians achieve a lasting peace,” Kerry said in a statement. “It’s the cause of Martin’s career, and I’m grateful for the wisdom and insight he’s brought to our collective efforts.”
At the Washington Institute for Near East Policy’s annual forum last month, Indyk, blamed Israel for the collapse of the so-called peace talks between Israel and the PA, saying Israel could lose its Jewish future if it refuses to freeze its illegal settlement-building activities.

In April, a Daily Beast report also said Kerry lashed out against Israel’s illegal settlement activities in a closed-door meeting with senior officials from the US, Western Europe, Russia, and Japan and warned that Israel could become “an apartheid state” if the talks with the PA would fail.
Also in April, the Fatah movement and Hamas signed an agreement to end seven years of rivalry and from a Palestinian unity government. The US State Department announced Washington planned to work with the new government, saying we “will continue to evaluate the composition and policies of the new government and if needed we’ll modify our approach.”
The announcement angered Tel Aviv which said it was “deeply disappointed by the comments of the State Department regarding working with the Palestinian unity government.”
