The September 11, 2001 attacks in the United States were a Zionist “coup d'etat” to seize power in the country and launch a permanent war on Islam on behalf of Israel, an American scholar and journalist in Wisconsin says.
Press TV: The real agenda of the 9/11 attacks were to “blackmail” Saudi Arabia and Pakistan as well as to use the resources of the US government to support Israel, said Dr. Kevin Barrett, a founding member of the Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance.
“This was really set-up by the Zionists who actually were the main force behind 9/11 and the Zionists wanted to make sure that 9/11 could be used to threaten Saudi Arabia and prevent it from leaving the US imperial orbit and also to threaten Pakistan and force Pakistan to acquiesce in the coming invasion of Afghanistan,” Barrett said during a phone interview on Tuesday.
US President Barack Obama has come under growing pressure by a bipartisan group of lawmakers to release 28 pages of the 9/11 Commission Report that indirectly implicates Saudi Arabia in the September, 2001 attacks.
The commission’s report has long been rumored to contain information about a relationship between Saudi Arabia’s royal family and al-Qaeda.
Dr. Barrett argued that the 9/11 congressional inquiry report was a “cover-up” to conceal the Zionist agenda and will not reveal the truth about the incident. “We need to declassify those pages but we also need to get to the bottom of what really happened on September 11.”
