Having a surgical background, I noticed that this much needed service was often not being undertaken in a safe or sterile manner. Also having personally circumcised our 3 boys at home and subsequently many of my colleagues and friends boys I could fully empathise with their anxieties over this very important phase in their child’s life.”
Wow. Genital mutilation being visited on baby boys in their own home, making that home a constant reminder of this traumatic event.
