MHRM: Positive Advocacy For Equality - David Shackleton + Improving Public Faith In The Legal System - Diana Davison

Canadian Association for Equality: David Shackleton is a thinker and writer on gender and socio-psychology, and a student of human potential. His book, "The Hand That Rocks the World" is an inquiry into the psychological roots of political correctness and a passionate appeal for an identity politics based on vision and collaboration rather than grievance and accusation. He is branch director of CAFE Ottawa, chair of the board of CCMF-Ottawa, and a member of the CAFE board of directors.

Improving Public Faith In The Legal System
Canadian Association for Equality: Diana Davison is a civil rights activist and co-founder of The Lighthouse Project, a non-profit which advocates for the falsely accused and wrongfully convicted. Diana has been challenging ongoing changes to sexual assault legislation which would undermine the rights of the accused. She feels that current proposed legislation will undermine the ability of an innocent person to prove his or her innocence in a proper court of law.
