Dozens more Palestinian civilians have been killed as thousands of Israeli soldiers backed by tanks continue a ground invasion into the besieged Gaza Strip. 
Zionist Orwellian UK BANNED Press TV: Gaza health officials say nearly 30 Palestinians have been killed since the early stage of the ground invasion on Thursday.
Sources say the majority of the victims are civilians including infants, children, women and the elderly.
Figures show nearly 270 Palestinians have already been killed since Israel began the air and sea offensive on July 8.  More than 2,000 Gazans have been also injured in the ongoing assault so far.
The UN says women and children make up a sizeable number of Palestinian fatalities caused by Israeli attacks on the besieged region.
Latest reports say both water and electricity supplies have been affected by the Israeli hostilities. Palestinian sources say the Israeli army has prevented technicians from making essential repairs to water supplies, while power has been cut off across a large part of the besieged enclave.

As summarized by Bloomberg, China’s new-home prices fell in a record number of cities tracked by the government as developers cut prices to boost sales volume.  Prices fell in a record 55 of the 70 cities last month from May, the National Bureau of Statistics said in a statement today, the most since January 2011 when the government changed the way it compiles the statistics.

Marty Nemko: You’re most well-known for your book The Myth of Male Power, just out in a new e-book edition. Many people think men have the power: Look at the Senate and CEO rosters. How would you respond? 
Warren Farrell: A small percentage of men have major institutional power but across the full population, real power is about having choices. The women’s movement has made it socially acceptable for a mom to work full-time, stay home with the child full-time, or work part-time. That’s as it should be. Alas, it’s not as acceptable for a man to work part-time, let alone be a full-time parent. Mr. Mom is still a term of derision.
Marty Nemko: But men earn more. Isn’t that power?
Warren Farrell: Many men still buy into a false definition of power: feeling obligated to earn money that someone else spends while we die sooner—5.2 years sooner. That’s not power. That’s being a prisoner of the need for love and approval.

"They have to die and their houses should be demolished so that they cannot bear any more terrorists," Shaked said, adding, "They are all our enemies and their blood should be on our hands. This also applies to the mothers of the dead terrorists.”

The remarks are considered as a call for genocide as she declared that all Palestinians are Israel's enemies and must be killed.

Connecticut Man Arrested by Misandric US Police for “Passive Aggressive” Behavior to a Watermelon

By Michael Krieger: As is typically the case with my posts, the reason for highlighting this story is to see it in the context of other cultural trends happening within western society. One of my biggest themes in 2014 has to do with the aggressive manner in which “authorities” relentlessly pursue average citizens for the most insignificant of infractions, while the most dastardly and destructive of criminals (financial oligarchs and others) receive, at worst, a slap on the wrist. Some of the more egregious examples of this behavior can be found in the links below.
Before I get into the case of the so-called “Melon Felon,” I’d like to highlight a recent story where Dallas Northington, a plain-clothes security officer at Target, was fired for reporting that a police officer was shoplifting from the retail giant. The Washington Post reported that:

Dallas Northington spent nearly eight years working for Target in loss prevention, roaming the stores and scanning the surveillance cameras. In an episode at the Leesburg Target store in May that he said was typical, a man was allegedly captured twice on video shoplifting, and Northington responded as he said he always did: He called the Leesburg police, made a report and provided them the videos of the two incidents.
But the man in the video may have been a Fairfax County sheriff’s deputy, Northington said he soon learned. And within days, two things happened: The deputy retired from the sheriff’s office and Target fired Northington, 29, a married father of two with a third child on the way...
